Purchased this for my slider door because I was tired of the terrible plastic window vent that I have been using for years. I was constantly taping them and they still leaked hot air back into the apartment. This new slider door seal kit is amazing. I was skeptical due to the fabric it uses but it works so perfectly I am kicking myself for not buying it years ago. Once I cleaned the areas where the velcro will be sticking to the framing and door, cut the velcro pieces for the top, bottom, and both sides and attached to the door/framing, attaching the seal kit took 2 minutes and it seals so tight, nothing is getting through. The most important part for me was assuring I could still open my slider at night when the AC unit was not in use and that is working perfectly as well. It is easy to tear away the velcro only on the slider door and open it and then close it back and seal when needed. I am so happy I purchased this and have absolutely no complaints. The hole for the actual vent tube works great, seals with the built in crimping string and then I used the velcro strap that was included for added strength and boom, no issues.

I have a sliding patio door. It was easy to install and it worked well with the air-conditioning hose in my portable unit. It’s 90° out today and the kit still allowed the room to cool down.

I have to give these guy a 4 just for shear craziness of their product. I thought this was going to be solid pieces the slide together to fill the gap between the door and the jam. I actually have one but it is too short for the sliding glass door. The reason for solid is that it provides some separation from the heat outside. Clothe which this product is made of has no heat resistance! Maybe this is some hi tech cloth that stops the heat! I have friends who fly airplanes. I send the to them to use as a windsock!

Easy install took about 10 minutes. Works great. So much easier than connecting panels for my slider. Seems to be holding up great.

Cheaply made for the price Velcro doesn’t stick and the paper wrapping the velcore wouldn’t come off not worth the money spent

Very easy to install and worked perfectly to fit the sliding glass door. No leaks around hose and no bugs were able to come in.

A drawn picture on the item's web page implied that there was a hole through the kit to pass the hose through, but when I opened it I found there was only a one-way opening. I've read elsewhere that passing the hose through the balcony door window and several feet out makes a portable air conditioner more efficient, and I was trying to find balcony door which would seal well and allow the hose to pass through, and i thought this would be it but it turns out it isn't. At this point I don't know if there is any sliding door kit that allows a hose to pass through, because an Amazon search doesn't reveal any. Fortunately, I was able to get a bit of compensation from Amazon for the misleading picture on the item's web page.

Got this for my 3D printing ventilation setup and im quite pleased with it. Gave the Velcro some time to stick on before actually using and its staying on pretty well, though there's one bit that did come off but that was just due to poor surface prep so that on me. Its really straightforward to use, just stick it on your door frame and then put the hose through the hole and tighten it. Its winter so the air outside is quite chilly but because its made of polyester it acts like a windbreaker and I was really surprised by how little back draft came through. Overall really nice door seal, while my use case was different its no different from other and im real happy with this thing.

I love this product! It was very easy to set up and simple to use. The Velcro design works great and creates a good seal around my portable air conditioner hose. One of my favorite features is that I can still access my balcony door whenever I want because it’s attached with Velcro, making it easy to open and close as needed. It has made keeping my apartment cool much easier. I would definitely recommend it!

Easy to put up and strong velcro strips hold it in place. I had a nice cool room. The lenghth was good for balcony sliding door and can easily remove one side to open the door. I recommend this as you don't need to fasten with screws or bolts to frame. Easy to take down and storage for colder months. Keeps cold air in and hot air out. Floor model air condition hose has plenty of room to fit to outside. Zipper closure also allows you to open for viewing. Easy to keep clean.

As you might expect, the installation for this is not complicated, but does require you to measure and cut lengths of the provided one-sided Velcro tape and stick it onto the frame of your door. As someone whose sliding door has a handle on it, I made this work, though it is a bit hacky, as the Velcro just stops where the handle is. This isn’t a deal breaker, but it does require me to shut the screen door to keep bugs out. The actual product itself is a fairly sturdy, though thin, piece of fabric. My portable air conditioner is on the taller side so I actually put this up upside down compared to the reference images, which works well enough. Plus, the excess length end is the end that would be the “top” in the reference photos, and as the instructions say you can cut off the extra length beyond whichever line of Velcro matches up with your door height, but I just kept it, and it just drapes onto my floor for a foot and a half or so. Might cut it off in the future but it’s not necessary. Obviously taking this thing off and putting it on every time I need to turn my AC on is a little tedious but actually only takes maybe 90 seconds to open the door, put it up and turn the thing on. The static shocks I get taking the Velcro off is annoying but minor. For value it’s quite good. The draw string opening had one of the strings come out of the actual plastic part, so I need to be a bit careful when loosening it now. A good sized rubber band would probably be a decent substitute if it ever fully came out. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done. If you don’t have a screen door and your sliding door has a handle on it, you’d be screwed, but I had planned for this so it’s fine.

It’s very thin and flimsy. Moreover, the velcro’s adhesive is awful, as it cannot bear any weight of the duct and easily comes off. Additionally, it is not compatible with older style balcony doors. Overall, a very poor product.
