This was a little odd to assemble - to change the tilt you'll need a screwdriver. But once it's set, it's solid with no wobble, and some I don't plan to ever change it, that's fine by me. Base is thick, heavy glass with thick foam stick on feet that don't slide very easy. No worries of this tipping over. Only complaint is that the screws that are meant to attach the tv to the stand are too short for my Sony. They didn't even reach the threads inside the holes on the tv, so I had to go buy some longer ones.
