My car key fell apart in my hand and was completely broken. I was looking at £140 replacement but someone suggested I try buying a replacement shell. It arrived really quickly and at first looked daunting to transfer the key contents but it was quite easy. The fiddly bit was getting the pin out of the key but other than that- no problems. My key is good as new and is even better than the original.
