Purchased this syrup in desperation, to help a friend who lives near a mega-sized agro-business which incorporates about 1000 acres of heavily sprayed mono-culture fields. My friend could not even talk on the phone for more than a few minutes, because of a horrible, wheezing, gasping for breath cough. On "spraying days" he could not talk at all. Mask wearing seemed to make everything worse.I had an idea that any product containing extract of English Ivy leaf would be helpful, so I purchased, sent, and then checked in for a report. His response after one week of trying this syrup (spoonful in water, once or twice each day) was: "Helpful. I feel better. Tried some in water and my throat and lungs have been all right." Spraying has continued, but so far he has not had another awful coughing event.This product work excellently well, for this person. I highly recommend a test of a very small amount in some water, just to test for possible allergic reactions to the ingredients. For a bad, wheezing, lasting-too-long cough, try this product. (And also, avoid use of harsh cleaning products with ammonia and other lung-irritating ingredients. Keep yourself far away, if you can, from gigantic, corporate agro-businesses, with their lung-choking chemical-spray stuff).

The English Ivy Leaf cough syrup has helped better than the over-the-counter products in the supermarket for symptom relief. It has no alcohol or sugar -- very good product and worth the extra cost. The last time I ordered it the bottle arrived with the packaging damaged - the seal was broken and there was liquid leaking into the box. Obviously I was not going to use it (no matter how much I endorse the product). Amazon Customer Service (online help) offered to replace and a new order was completed. Great Product / Great Service.

I think this is good as an expectorant. Taste is ok. A little expensive though.

Great tasting cough syrup

This is my second time buying this product and I got very disappointed. It arrived in a poor condition. The package was opened, sticky and soaked in syrup. The syrup itself is watery like it was diluted with water. The first time I ordered this item I got a syrup which was a lot thicker. I can't even return it or get a replacement so I'm not buying this item anymore and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It far exceeds anything you can buy over the counter in drug stores and anything i have ever got from the doctor that didn't have codeine in it. In fact, it works even better than what i've ever received via prescription. A bit on the too sweet side though.... i recommend rinsing your mouth afterwards.

This product will help people without gut flora issues for sure. It will do what it says it does.HOWEVER, it will not help you if your immune system has been shut.If you cannot get the relief you desire, that is, getting rid of asthma all together, then this is not for you. YOU MUST FAST for at least 7 to 12 days, or more (21 days), AND you will have to get rid of foods that trigger histamine in your body because you will go back to where you were before.YOU WILL HAVE TO do a few trials of water fasting.Watch "Science of Fasting" to get going with this and get healthy once and for all FAST, and to encourage your to water fast in the first place.Cheers!
