For the fair freckled Irish skin, this hat is wonderful. Fits comfortable and snug. No headaches. The pony tail hole was perfect fit. My Husband says the hat looked too big for me. But, it kept the sun out of my face. The pony tail hole is adjustable. The chin strap I could adjust under my chin or behind my head. Very lightweight. I was able to fold it up and pack it away when I needed to switch to another hat. My head was able to breath. Which is essential during a long hike. Not exactly versatile. I can wear this in the back country, at the beach, at the pool, or in the garden. It did dry quickly when it rained or if I washed it in the river. Did not hold smells. Which is good! Perfect hat to keep the sun off!

This hat was delivered in a nearly flat rectangle box, and it does have a couple creases but I assume (from the reviews) they will come out with a hand-wash or I’ll use the iron. I got the pink; it’s a little in the mauve side, but it’s a light pink and I like it. I didn’t have a size choice but I received a 6-3/4 to 6-7/8 size. I have a small head and the only hat style I’ve worn confidently is a baseball hat. I have fair skin, I’m in my early 70s, and need to continue to be smart about protecting my skin. I have a beach trip coming up, and when I tried this hat on I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it so much. I like the fabric; this does not look like a “cheap” hat. The crown height is good, the brim size is what I would call protective for my face, ears, and neck, and I can pull the elastic just a little for a more snug fit (head circumference). There’s also a pull string for the neck in case of a windy day. I have short hair, so obviously will ignore the ponytail holder. I just ordered another of these hats for my daughter who does have a ponytail, so fingers crossed that she likes it.

Love, Love, Love This Hat! Ordered it while on vacation and had it shipped to that address. It is perfect for shading from the Sun. Looks exactly as pictured and it does fold for traveling without destroying its shape. Cool and comfortable! Highly recommend!

It came very wrinkly and back part was too wide, hits my neck I bought this brand several years ago and fit better and was not crushed .

Thanks to all you previous positive reviewers for making my choice for a new sun hat so easy! I love the fit, the color and most especially the ponytail accommodation! I spend a lot of time outside and this is the perfect hat for extra hot summer weather. It's a very nice shape, super flattering.

I wear it daily either walking or doing yard work. Adjusts easily and blocks the sun from my face. Well made and as good as Columbia or other brands. Very cute w/ lots of compliments. The pink/grey is very pretty.

I love this gardening/mowing hat. This is the second one I bought. I washed the other one so many times and it keeps its shape for a long time. Not only shields the face but also the back of the next. Adjustable for any head size. Comfortable!

Cute. Well made for someone with a petite sized head. It was too small for me…but too cute not to pass along to a friend.
