It worked straight out of the box—just switch it on and start writing. The tip glides nicely, lines are clean, and tilt sensitivity makes mark-ups and quick sketches feel natural. Build quality is better than expected and the fast charge is handy; a short top-up gets me going again. Two minor niggles: the battery life could be better (I usually need a top-up after longer sessions), and every now and then it’s a little unresponsive when I first start writing—flicking it off and on sorts it. Overall, a cracking budget alternative to the Apple Pencil for notes, PDFs and casual drawing.
