NLT Premium Value Compact Bible, Filament Enabled (LeatherLike, Pink Rose)

I love the Filament app that comes with this. It expands God's Word for better understanding. The NLT is an easier flow as well. Especially if you're new to reading the Bible.

I absolutely love this tiny Bible. It is beautiful and makes me heart happy to see it. I expected it to be small length and width but I did not expect it to be nearly as thin as it is. The font is readable though small. It is not what I would want to read for long stretches of time as I have had vision but I can read it without hurting my eyes, which I was worried about. The pages are thick enough that I'm not scared I'm going to tear them just by turning them. The Bible is light weight and easily fits into a makeup bag and is easy to carry in my purse. I have a Bible on my phone which is what I've been using at church but I'm thrilled to take this one now. And it's light enough that I'm keeping it in my purse so the time. I found the New Living Translation when my older kids were small and I wanted a Bible version that I could worry more about teaching them the history and lessons in the Bible rather than explaining word definition with every sentence. It is highly readable and understandable. I did some research on the "16 missing verses." These to are verses that appear in the King James Version but that modern translations leave out. They are left out because they do not appear in the very oldest of manuscripts and were added a bit later. As they were not part of the original manuscripts, many translations leave them out. I have several different translations that I use for study and reading. This is my go to translation for simply reading, for myself and for my kids and is the one I most recommend. The app information is a great resource. I have watched some of the videos and read some of the commentary. I appreciate that it turns my tiny Bible into a study Bible without me having to carry my much heavier Bibles around.

The pretty color of pink, the material of the paper, the binding in printing reading, good. Soft material. Looking of all the stickers, lots of additional sheets of paper (more adding in of more information on a few of the) there was no problem of the marking. It did not bleed. I want to do one for a friend as her birthday gift. But this one’s mine.

Okay, let me just say—I’m OBSESSED with this Bible! First off, the design is super cute. I got the pink one and it’s the perfect soft shade that gives it such a feminine, fun vibe—but still feels like something deep and meaningful. It’s compact enough to keep in my car or bag, so I can read anywhere—during lunch breaks, parked outside work, or waiting at the drive-thru. What really blew me away is that it comes with an app too! The app has extra lessons, devotionals, and tools that help you really understand the Word, not just read it. It’s perfect for anyone like me who’s always on the go but still wants to stay connected and grow spiritually. Super convenient, especially if you’re trying to keep your Bible study game strong during a busy week. Also, the font is easy to read, the layout is clean, and it even has helpful study notes throughout. I love how it breaks things down in a way that’s easy to understand. If you’re looking for a cute, travel-friendly Bible that actually helps you learn, not just read—this is it. 10/10 recommend!

I actually did return this Bible for a couple of reasons, but I was sad to do so. It's very attractive, feels good in the hand which is important to me. I wrestled with keeping it, but there were two reasons that I didn't. First, the print size is smaller than I was expecting...I have other compact Bibles with larger print, so I didn't realize the print was so small on this one (This was 100% my oversight..I didn't realize that this compact Bible is about an inch shorter than my other one, so the print needs to be smaller for the size). It strained my eyes to read it (I'm 47, so getting up there a bit, but not in readers yet). I also didn't realize that the pages weren't gilded (which at the price point, it's not too surprising that it isn't gilded..just a little disappointing). I would pay a bit more money to have the gilded pages. But this is a value Bible, so I understand. Between the small font size and lack of gilding, I did decide to return it, but it was a tough choice. It's a very nice, affordable compact Bible. Just not for me.

For those who don't know and I didn't know either. I'm not entirely a new Christian was raised Catholic BUT here's the most important thing. As mentioned in the other review there are missing verses. The amount missing is 16 either entirely or or partial ommited. This is to help those who want to explore the biblical world on the Word of God. How can you find the missing verses. I had to Google exactly which ones were missing. Pair this bible version with the King James Version and you're set on learning what the Word of God is. Also what I did notice. Which was odd for me the Word from Jesus is not in red. But that's not going to steer me away from reading and learning what the NLT has to offer. I like that it's small, granted that it has small text but the important thing is that I can carry this every where I go without the need of bringing a giant version like I'm back in school. I can read this anywhere not just inside a church. If you're new this was made for you to understand with the literal translation from Greek and Hebrew to our English language. So I definitely recommend pairing this with the King James Version so you can fully be aware what the Bible has in-store for you.

Got delivered a day eralier than planned, I’m really happy with this compact Bible, it’s easy to understand and you can take it everywhere! I also think that the Bible verse on the first page is really cute, little things make a diffrence 💕 Thank you for the fast delivery. (I don’t recommend it for people who wear glasses, the letters are quite small to read)

The cover is so cute. I gifted it to my non Christian friend in hopes of planting the seed. Praying god uses it for good. It is very small but still readable!
