PRO ART, 18-inch Wood/Acrylic Edge T-Square, Natural

This is THE classic wood t-square and billions of these must have been made and used over the past 100 years. I have a couple hanging in the workshop and they get frequent use. The blade is firmly fastened to the square with five screws and the square itself is thick so it firmly sits against the edge of the drawing table or board. The blade is made of hardwood and has clear, smooth, hard, modern acrylic edges so it's easy to make perfect lines. The acrylic edges are positioned just right so that there's little chance of a smear when inking a line.This 18" t-square is small enough to tote along if you travel and with the  Pro Art 24" T-Square  will pretty much supply all the needs you have for lining and squaring accuracy at the drawing board or in the workshop.

This is a very good square, very well made the head is very secure with no wobble or movement so head stays square. I mean there is only so much you can say about a square, but this is a great one for the price.

Before computers and graphics workstations, before drafting machines, there were T-squares and triangles to meet all of a designer's straight-line drawing needs. This square is well-made and dependable and delivers a reliable perpendicular angle to any straight guide surface it is used with. I ordered it as a replacement for "Mr. T," my workhorse T-square which had faithfully performed its duties since my very first high school art class nearly 40 years ago. Unfortunately, Mr. T was no match for the cackhanded moving crew who managed to destroy him en route to our new house. Since I have no plans to move again and am now in my 50s, I fully expect this T-square to be a lifetime supply of T-squares for me.

I liked the weight of this. The clear sides allow for better line placement and the weight keeps it in one place. It was really well packed to for shipping.

The square is of good quality. It slides along the edge of my drawing table well and does what it is supposed to do. The price was good, too.

I was disappointed that the T-Square didn't have any measurement markings, like inches or centimeters. Otherwise, it's made very well and produces a strong guide for making a line.

I purchased this so I could cut straight edges of material using a sewing rotary cutter & so I would have my own & not use my husband's t-square. He did have to adjust it, which is normal, glad he knew that plus knowing how too. }i{

Very nice T square, easy to use.

It's great for artists.This is lightweight which is very important for me. The hardware metal T-square is too heavy and clumsy when I am trying to hold it horizontally with one hand while painting with the other.The plastic edges make for clean lines and ease in wiping off paint.
