I ordered this dress in green, size M. It arrived two days later, as expected, and it was well packed (no cheap crinkly bags that are taped with clear tape and make it impossible to put it back together in case you want to return the item). The dress is very simple and lovely. According to several reviews here I see that some women found the sleeve openings to be too narrow, tight fitting. I didn't find this to be a problem at all for myself. I had plenty of room for my arms to feel comfortable and to move freely in this dress. I am medium built, on the slim side. Normally I wear size S in US clothing and 6-8 in UK sizing. My proportions are chest 34B (true B... I am pretty flat), waist 26" and hips 37". I am 5'7"-5'8" tall. Medium fits me perfectly in this dress, it looks exactly like it does on the model in the picture (same length, same fit around the arms and shoulders...). This dress' style is loose fitting, so it is very fluid and playful. You can give it a bit of spice with a long necklace or a cute head band, but it can stand on its own even without any accessories! The tiny pleat detail on the bodice is darling and takes just enough fabric up top to give the overall look a bit of a shape. Overall the dress is well made, - no missing stitching or "derailed" stitching anywhere. The edges are tidy and the pleats lay flat. The green color is exactly how I see it on the picture (I use MacBook Pro), - grass green, - very calming and fresh like spring grass! The color pops enough to make a statement without "shouting"! It looks great with oranges, reds, purples, bright pink, magenta and turquoise too. This green is a very versatile color indeed... think of it as a meadow that would look lovely with any color of flowers!!The only reason I gave this dress four stars and not five is because the fabric is slightly itchy for me. Perhaps it is due to the fabric being new and never been washed. If the fabric softens after the first wash, I will be certain to update this review because it would deserve five stars for sure from me in that case! I am likely to order another one in a different color if this itchy quality of fabric goes away.

I really love this dress, but if you order it in an extra large in order to have a decent sleeve size... it does look a bit like a tent from the back!I'm 5 feet tall and weigh 138 pounds, so I'm a little plump in places (like the tops of my arms). Everything to the bottom of the breast area fits me perfectly in an extra large, because the sleeves are not very generously proportioned, and I have a fairly wide back, so I like to buy a size that allows me to raise my arms easily. However, the 'waist' area of the dress is HUGE and tent-like with about six inches of excess fabric that could be pulled in at the back and still be a drop-waisted style. I think that I would recommend ordering a large if you have similar proportions to me, and maybe find some way to adjust the sleeves if necessary.The colour and quality is really nice, but I just wish that the sleeves were more generous so that I could order a more flattering size... because the price is a bit expensive for a house dress.

I love Mordenmiss and this is another one of them that I wear constantly. The mini sleeves are just perfect and I love the huge pockets. The lengt is just right and the fabric is not see through and sturdy, but feels airy and light. The texture detail on the top is a nice touch visually and functionally as it brings in the volume a bit. I love the full coverage on top with a neck line and sleeve area that doesn't expose everything. Summer dresses so often leaves me feeling too naked on top with scooped necks and underarms and bras exposed leaving me feeling the need for an additional layer. This dress keeps me covered but still nice and loose keeping me cool. A thin colored cardigan can be worn on top, or even a hoodie easily complements for casual look for cooler weather, and also looks cute with colored opaque tights. A dress appropriate for so many occasions. Work, school, casual outings. A good everyday dress. Casual but elegant. A definite staple in my summer/ fall/ spring wardrobe!

This dress is perfect - the material is substantial, yet feels great on a warm (80 degree) day. The fit is perfect - I am tall, usually wear a size 16 pant, XL tops...This dress is just right in each area:- the chest has enough wiggle room, shows off just enough, yet still professional/put together (my chest is 38DD).- the waist is roomy, but not so large that I look like I'm wearing a bag- the pleats are a perfect addition to give it enough style so as not have to accessorize a lot- the length is modest, but perfect for a luncheon with colleagues or headed out to dinner- I wore sandals with it today - but could see wearing fun sneakers too...- very versatile- will purchase again - very pleased

Love this dress. I got an XL based on the model having a M (I am normally a large, 5'4", bra size 38D, pant size 10-12 depending on brand for reference) while SUPER blousy and billowy it is exactly what you would think by looking at the accompanying model image. I received many compliments (even by an acquaintance who is normally a word I shouldn't use on an amazon review, but that may not be totally relevant) wearing this dress (I got it in black) and it is very comfortable. The linen seemed like it could be itchy when I first opene the package but was not whilst wearing g the garment. The back is more billowy than the front, so if that's not your thing this may not be the dress for you, but it did not feel tent-like, just breezy. I'm looking forward to wearing on vacation. High quality stitching, very durable fabric. It's in the laundry (again) or I'd post a photo.
