So many kid's safety products are great if you remember to use them like the outlet plugs. Once you take an outlet plug out, if you forget to put it back in, the product is useless. This product stays on the door handle all the time so there is no way to forget to use it. I highly recommend it!!!

I liked the idea of a product that always stays on the doors and works as soon as the door opens. It does just what their description says – it’s easy to install, you just turn the knob to close the door, and it’s solid enough to stop even our heavy doors from slamming. I bought one of each color and they all look great on my doors. You will not be disappointed.

I wanted this to work because my kids like to slam the door but it doesn't tighten enough to prevent them from just moving it out of the way and slamming the door anyways. I'm pretty sure they're more likely to get fingers slammed in the door by their sibling than they were before. I was super disappointed

I think this it probably a great product, but our door handles turn independently on the inside and outside of the door, so the kids can’t turn this up and down when closing their doors from the inside. But they love the design. Was tough to uninstall.

Tried to install on garage door but the weather stripping made it impossible to reset and close. Worked well at preventing finger pinches but we couldn’t reset it and close the door due to the weather stripping.

This is a great idea in theory and we still make it work by manually moving the whale up and down. The strap that is to go around the neck of the doorknob is too thick or our hardware is too narrow so it can’t get a tight grip on the part of the mechanism it needs to in order to turn with the doorknob. Love the idea of not having to think about it but just wasn’t right for us.
