Yes. The night light can be on, dimmed, or completely off. The light to read the time can also be on, dimmed, or completely off. Even with the clock light off the alarm will still go off

how do i get it to look the same as the picture with that pink gradient

You press the button with the power-looking icon and two lines below it. You cycle through the different light settings and one of them is the gradient which fades in and out.

YES. Press the [Moon pattern] button to enter the fall-asleep mode. then double click the [ Moon patter] button to turn on /off the scene simulatin of Fall-asleep, but the sound will still stay on, click the [Moon patter] button again to choose your Fall-asleep sound.
