I’ve been using the Govo Gosurround 950 5.1 soundbar for several months now, and I must say, it’s a fantastic audio solution for any home theater setup. Sound Quality: Out of the box, the soundbar delivers decent audio quality, but to truly unlock its potential, I found that adjusting the EQ settings made a world of difference. With my customized EQ setup, the soundbar now provides punchy bass without overpowering the mids and highs, and the surround sound speakers feel much more spatially accurate. My EQ Settings for Optimal Audio: If you want to tweak the sound like I did, here are the exact EQ adjustments that worked wonders for me: NOTE: YOU NEED A GRAPHIC EQ, i suggest Poweramp Equalizer for advanced users. I have a 31 band version which will be soon be on reddit you can search it up ;) Bass (Low Frequencies) Frequency: 5Hz, Gain: +4.5 Frequency: 33Hz, Gain: +4.5 Frequency: 56Hz, Gain: +1.5 Midrange (Mids) Frequency: 361Hz, Gain: +0.38 Frequency: 617Hz, Gain: +3.0 Frequency: 1054Hz, Gain: +2.7 Treble (High Frequencies) Frequency: 10,000Hz, Gain: 0.0 Frequency: 20,000Hz, Gain: +1.5 Frequency: 15,305Hz, Gain: +1.5 This EQ profile adds clarity to vocals, increases the bass response for more depth, and balances the treble to prevent it from becoming too harsh, especially in smaller rooms. Build Quality: The soundbar is well-built and feels solid. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy, which is a big plus for a budget-friendly option. The sleek design fits nicely under my TV, and it connects seamlessly via HDMI ARC. Surround Experience: The surround sound speakers genuinely bring immersive audio to movies and games. With the right EQ settings, the surround left and right channels became more accurate in sound placement, making everything from explosions to subtle sound cues more engaging. The GOVO GOSURROUND 975 DOLBY ATMOS SOUNDBAR with WIRED WOOFER is an absolute powerhouse! The performance is outstanding — delivering true Dolby Atmos with immersive sound that makes you feel right inside a theatre. The bass is deep, rich, and punchy without any jarring, while the DSP tuning is spot-on, balancing clarity and impact beautifully. Only minor quirk: the “3D Surround” option resets every time the soundbar goes into standby, so it has to be re-enabled manually. If it could retain the sound settings, it would be flawless. That said, for this price, it’s a killer product — unmatched in its category. Highly recommended for movie enthusiasts and bass lovers alike!

Day 1 - The soundbar was delivered today. Package looked neat and untampered. I managed to install it by myself and located the EARC HDMI port on my TV using a spare HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included). For the budget the audio was high quality and powerful enough to envelop my medium sized room and rattle some knick knacks on a shelf. The 3D sound works great for enhancing vocals in a surround heavy presentation and it's currently set to the MOVIE EQ preset. I'm going to experiment on it and find the sweet spot for my music and podcast audios etc. Overall, for a decent price to be able to experience ATMOS for home, especially experiencing sound depth for Dolby Atmos lossless music was incredible. I'll update this review sometime in the future but I'm very happy with the way the product is designed, the ergonomic remote and the powerful sound. The soundbar and SW exterior design looks so good in the living room too. If you're on a budget but want Atmos and hate wiring around the house - go for this 👍

Bass is good.. But bass control is not working its always at default bass even if I set it minus value. I love it while playing PS5 games its so immersive and experience the game to the fullest. However While I use it for movies or music its not controllable bass shoots up or volume high need to control again based on what we are hearing. And to enable earc mode you need a earc hdmi cable which is not included. Sound Quality - 4/5 Atmos surrounded - 4/5 (if no earc - 3/5) Bass - 3/5 (only due to default bass) Treble - 4/5 Games - 5/5 Movie/Music - 4/5 But still for this price range its solid. I have experienced speakers with more than 80K price with pure dolby atmos sounds, compared to that its not even close. So its not true dolby atmos just virtual atmos intimated by forward drives.
