3 Fountains I’ve purchased: 1) Drinkwell zen corded fountain about one gallon,round stainless steel bowl. Large bowl with downspout in stainless steel,immersible pump, flimsy carbon filter, plastic housing, cord only means continuous stream, might be too noisy for bedroom. I upgraded it with a trimmable larger carbon aquarium filter and nylon drawstring bag over the pump. Requires a brush to clean the tubing and pump housing. A juggle to assemble and lot of surfaces to clean. Manual fairly good on cleaning. I’ve had pump several years! No rust as of yet. With the upgrade carbon & nylon bag around the pump, I’m cleaning every two weeks in outdoor, partially sheltered location. Easy to top off. Nice capacity. 2. ipettie (rechargeable ensure you select this if desired there is also a wired version which I got) fountain 4 litters (1.1 gallon). Stainless steel square bowl more compact than a round bowl; immersible pump includes long cord (5’ usb-c cord length), wired version includes the adaptor!!! and brush for cleaning (immersible pump with tubes will be some extra cleaning there); some pre-filter sponges. Very easy to assemble, and only the continuous spray plug-in is on apparently I got the WIRED version by mistake when I selected the extra filter package. The 5’ cord and included adaptor makes that doable. Has a plastic inner shelf to hold the filter. A little SLOW topping it off, could be deeper; like the level viewport although hard to see that at night even with light. Just got this one—So far this is the best fountain for my six cat household with 1.1 gallons as cats need 1 cup per cat! I refill with RO water. My cats do drink out of this more often than the red plastic one, I think continuous flow might taste better & I like the continuous water flow it’s got a comforting ‘white noise’ to it. Note: I have it on a tray with a lip to contain any spills. 3. Pawaii rechargeable small red compact all-plastic fountain. Impeller external to pump, battery and controller, 6-stage filter snaps neatly in place but inadequate for multiple cat household and all plastic is the worst material for bacteria growth. 4. Vital sip. Also small, and claims they have a biofilm to help reduce bacteria growth. They also claim plastic must be cleaned every 48 hours, but theirs is not all metal as it has a plastic pump casing and a cover over the filters is also plastic… less plastic to be sure, but still plastic that must be cleaned every 48 hours according to them. Otherwise you’re going to have undesirable bacteria Growth. I had to treat one of my cats for a bacterial infection' so I take seriously the claim that cleaning every 48 hours is necessary for anything that’s plastic. I am boiling my Cleaning water, cool it enough to add it to the pump to recirculate everything (plastic can take a fair amount of heat, but not boiling water because the pieces might not fit back together, I tried that and that’s what happened). If I only had a few cats, I would just put out a bowl of fresh water twice a day! So I do that too, for the choice.

Guys this fountain is amazing and a LOT BETTER than the pet Libre fountain i had before. I was using a pet Libre, it was very expensive a lot more than this one. My home burned down and I couldn't afford to buy PL again so I settled on this one and it does not disappoint. This thing is way better than any fountain I've used. It has MOTION detection and it works very well. It has a light on top which will turn colors when it needs charged which has been every few days. The dogs can still use it while you are charging it. I love the stainless steel vs the plastic. This thing is also wireless I can put it anywhere I want. I promise you guys you will love this. It is also very quiet.

Works for a few months then the pump stops working. The link to manufacturer website support reached through the order is not a live link. Searching manually in the product support section, the fountain does not appear as an item to select (even thought the listing currently still says product support provided). Keep your money.

I really liked it, but out of all the pumps I had this one only lasted 2 months 1 week. The other 3 I had before lasted 6 months, 3 years, and 1 year. Best of all but yet, lasted very little time. I hope to get some help soon. Hopefully they can fix this recall i see many reviews having the same issue.

The Pettie Runway Wireless Pump Cat Water Fountain works okay overall. Water trickles steadily from the pump, which keeps it flowing. However, the pump runs noticeably loud, which nearly discourages our cats from using it. The new design also removed the internal light that backlit the water level window, making it frustrating to check levels. Decent but could be better.

Works Soo good! Frequent sponge change keeps water fresh for kitties. Water stays cool in stainless steel. Easy to clean. Quiet and doesn’t scare the kitties.

UPDATE! ipettie contacted me about the issue and sent a replacement fountain to fix the problem! Excellent customer service and extra excellent follow up! Just another reason to go with this product! I have purchased three of these fountains. With the most current one being the third one purchased. The first two that I had were super quiet and just sound like a trickling fountain when they came on however, this new one is incredibly loud. That is the reason I took off two stars otherwise it is a great fountain and my cats love it. But the sound is very annoying.

I purchased this 9/30/2023 and it worked really really well. We cleaned it as we should, we changed the filters as we should, the cats got used to it as they should. Until we started noticing the floor was wet. We thought maybe the filter is clogged and the water isn't draining back to the tank fast enough so it's spilling to the floor, so we changed the filter and cleaned all the parts as usual. Seemed ok....for awhile. Then the floor was wet again. Repeated the process of replacing, cleaning. Thought maybe it was the cats, playing in the water...nope. Then we were on the way to bed and there was ALOT of water on the floor, and we saw that it was the spout that the water comes out of just spraying it over the pan and onto the floor! We unplugged it so it would stop running during the night. We are unable to figure out why it's spraying out wonky. We can't use it like it is. We can't find a replacement part, only a replacement "pump" which, when using the pictures for reference, I'm not sure is the top part that we think we need. We paid $55.99 plus tax to purchase it and it barely lasted a year, so we're kinda sad. It is quiet though, and I loved that it turned on and off vs running continuously or not running at all. I just wish it wasn't spraying wonky and onto my floors. I wish I could be confident in getting a replacement part for not a ton of money. In the meantime, the kitties are back to using their original, normal bowl that no one really likes.

Best pet fountain I have used. Had several others. I like that it's made of stainless steel, keeping water fairly cool and clean. The sensor is a nice feature so that there is not always water sitting on top to get dirty. Large capacity with double filter, means you are not changing the water often, or have it run out quickly. Fairly study, flat non slip bottom, so it won't be moved or tip over easily. I have two cats and they drink heartily out of it and it will last around a week.

I bought Ipettie and my cat loves it! It took him about two days to get used to it, so I kept the water bowl around, and now he only drinks from the fountain. I also noticed that he comes to drink more often than before. Very easy to clean, very quiet, wonderful product!

Really easy to set up and works well. The cats do seem to drink more water and aren't scared of the slight noise when the pump is running. Keeps water fresh for a month as it filters it, so much better than a bowl of water.
