DERMAdoctor KP Moisturizing Lotion, Keratosis Pilaris Body Cream, 8 oz

The lotion is very lightweight, making it easy to rub in. I can feel and see the hydration in my skin. Once applied it does feel a bit sticky, *I think that’s because of the urea, i have experienced the same thing with other lotions that have urea. I have high hopes for this lotion, hopefully it fades my strawberry skin.

It works, but you need to be persistent. I used it 2x a day every day for about 2-3 months and my KP is gone. Never came back either.

The formula has changed, but there is no mention of this on the listing. The new formula is less effective and smells bad. Why on earth would you change the formula that had been available for years to something exponentially worse?!

Great for dry skin especially on the heels of the feet.

I have tried it for a couple of days. I can’t tell the difference just yet. What I’ve felt is that it gives me a burning sensation on each application.

I have been using Derma Doctor KP Duty cream for at least 10 years. It is the only product that eliminated the keratosis pilaris on the back of my upper arms. If I would use another product or a regular moisturizer, the keratosis pilaris would come back. This most recent delivery of KP Duty appears to have a new formula. It is not as moisturizing as the original, has a different feel/slip on the skin, and now smells bad like most other lactic acid lotions. The original formula was scent-free/neutral and left my skin very moisturized. I'm disappointed that Derma Doctor changed the formula. If it continues to keep my keratosis pilaris away, I will continue to purchase. However, I much prefer the original formula.

Works within a few days! I have been using this brand for many years and only when I need it. You can exfoliate and keep the skin moisturized but these bumps may come back from time to time if you aren’t consistent with your skin care. Put enough don’t overdo it and in a few days smooth & no bumps on your skin (I used for arms & thighs).

Super stinky - texture is really thick and makes your skin feel slightly sticky afterwards. I can’t really handle the smell of it and wish I had tried it before the return window closed. I’m going to go back to using the AprilSkin products I used previously instead of this.

Very good product leaves the skin instantly soft.

I didn’t care much for the scent of this lotion or how long it took to absorb into my skin. Because of that, I found myself using it less often than recommended, which may be why I didn’t notice much improvement. It might work better with more consistent use, but personally, the texture and smell were enough to make it hard to stick with. Just something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to those factors.
