According to the information on the front of the Force Factor it says “Collagen Boosting Superfoods” So it says that it SUPPORTS hair, skin, nails & Natural Collagen Production. My guess is , that the ingredients listed might help your body to produce more of the natural collagen already in your body . That’s why I bought this product! Annamarie
