Very nice shirt
Western welder shirt arrived in 100% condition. Very pleased with the heaviness of denim that its made of, now with that being said I have wore Wrangler denim shirts my entire life and they are a great dress/work shirt as well. I am a welder and even though I wear my denim work shirts I also wear a welding jacket over those with leather sleeves as extra protection. Far as durability on the shirt of itself I have no doubt that it will be more than tough enough to withstand the torture I have put my Wrangler shirts through without my jacket in the summer during welding. These WW shirts get compliments from people for sure. Personal preference for most people when it comes to what is a great shirt and fashion, these shirts are double cost compared to a Wrangler and they may be a little tougher but I’ll leave that up to the shirts performance in due time. Also I ordered a large size and it fit great and after the first wash it did shrink some so its a bit more snug so I’d advise getting a size bigger than normal and after the wash it’ll fit more like you're normal size, as a welder ya don’t want a too tight fitting shirt due to flexibility while welding over pipe and stretching out to continue a weld.

Sweet Shirt
This is actually a very nice long sleeve… feels very well made. Probably gonna buy another one soon. Size fits correct and comfortable. 5 stars!

Great Shirt
Love the color and how well this shirt washes up after being in the welding shop for a week at a time. Does a great job of protecting the arms from burns while welding.

Accurate sizing, good quality
I got a couple of these for my husband for Christmas, and they fit him perfect. I hate ordering clothes online because you never know if they’ll fit, but these were perfect. Do NOT dry them in the dryer. I assume they might shrink.

Great canvas shirt, but do your research
Top Recommendations (short version)1. Buy one size larger. These shirts shrink up to two inches.2. Sleeves and cuffs are at least 1.5" longer than a regular shirt3. Look at the manufacturer website for sales prices. Amazon pricing is not reflecting sales prices by Western Welder of up to 30% off.4. The Amazon seller (as of November 2023) is very slow (up to 3 weeks!) to fill orders, so slow that orders are often canceled because the sizes are no longer available from WW by the time the 3rd party fills on Amazon.5. Many, MANY more sizes and colors are available on the manufacturer websiteFull Review (long version)This review is for the non FR (fire resistant) shirt. Tried to find as much information about this shirt is possible online before buying and simply could not find good quality information. The best I could find is actually on Instagram posted by individuals. So be sure to check that out if you want better photos then the manufacturer or Amazon are providing with this product.Material - Cotton canvas shrinks:To me the single most important detail about this shirt that you need to know as a buyer is that it is made from non-sandforized cotton canvas. I don't know why that detail is not made available in the product description but that is what you need to know. It is not denim and it is not woven cotton or a cotton synthetic blend in the modern clothing genre of "cotton shirt." It is heavy duty cotton canvas, which is a tightly woven twill (spiral twisted cotton fiber) most often used for making large tents in the 1800s and 1900s and military duffle and equipment bags for the last 150 years before synthetics became readily available and tougher than cotton. This type of cotton shrinks dramatically--that is completely normal. (Please read that sentence again and stop complaining when your shirt shrinks). This cotton canvas shirt is NOT made of pre shrunk cotton. Now that we have that out of the way I'd like to speak to a couple of myths that I read online in some reviews about this shirt. To address a couple of total myths out there:First of all if you are a welder do not buy the STANDARD version of this shirt and expect it to not catch on fire and burn when you put hot metal or welding arc on it. To say it differently if you are a welder, common sense should tell you you need to buy the FIRE RESISTANT version of this shirt. (Duh!) Second, this shirt is not going to 'wear out' or mysteriously tear easily anytime in the near future. Cotton canvas is thick and sturdy and with triple row stitching the seams are extremely strong. The acrylic pearl snaps are what you would expect and are well placed regarding spacing and the gaps between, as well as on the longer cuffs (there are THREE snaps on the cuffs).Fit and wearCotton canvas is not stretchy and feels much "rougher" than denim or cotton or standard cotton twill. Add starch and this shirt could be a pizza box. You can take that as a positive or negative depending on how you view starched shirts. So if you are looking for comfort this may not be your shirt starched. The easiest solution for this is to wear an undershirt and that problem is solved. Last thought on the pros for canvas: the dyes seem to be very color fast and the quality and depth of the color surpassed my expectations both before and after washing with zero fade.Final note regarding fit. The shirt is tailored as "relaxed fit." I would re label this description as "untucked work shirt" fit, or perfect "shacket" (shirt as a jacket) not simply relaxed fit. If you are 20 pounds over weight this cut is handy. If you are slim this is not handy. I am average size and wear my shirts tucked so the fit is less "dressy" than the overall styling of the shirt lends to the otherwise very stylish western dress shirt design. If you're buying for a work shirt the standard tail length is a big deal if you have a lot of movement (especially bending over) throughout your day that can pull the standard length tail out. Perhaps a slim size in one size larger would solve this (remember, cotton canvas shrinkage) but you may have to try sizes to find out. On that note, while the tail is standard length, the sleeves and cuffs are at least an inch and half longer than standard as compared to the tail length and shoulder width. If you have long arms this shirt is for you. "Welder cuffs" make perfect sense for wearing gloves. However, they are quite long for casual or dress wear and can't be frenched due to snaps.I am average height and weight (5'9" 160lbs) and normally wear a medium (16 neck 33 sleeve 40 chest). I bought a Large, washed it and it fits perfect like a Medium minus the longer sleeve and cuff length.Overall, it's a beautiful shirt and I plan to keep it. It's a great price for the quality and should last for a decade of outdoor work wear. I do wish Western Welder would redesign the non FR to be more fitted, with a longer tail for tucking, and with shorter dress shirt sleeves and cuffs for casual wear.

These shirts are tough!
The shirts fit true to size, tough and look good! They are thick, so if you can't stand thick cotton shirts, they're not the ones for you.

Lousy snap buttons.
Good quality material and excellent stitching, but the snap buttons have a low hold threshold. Bot very convenient or safe when your shirt keeps popping buttons on the job site. I only wear snap button shirts at work and these are pretty low quality.
