These grow lights have been fantastic for starting my chilli seedlings indoors. The full spectrum lighting (6000K / 3000K / 660nm) really seems to make a difference — my seedlings are growing strong, healthy, and much less leggy compared to when I tried growing them on a windowsill alone. I love the 10 dimmable brightness levels, which makes it easy to adjust the light depending on the stage of growth. The timer function (3/9/12 hours) is incredibly convenient because I can just set it and not worry about turning the lights on and off every day. The lights themselves are bright but not harsh, and the 120 LEDs provide great coverage for my seed trays. Installation was also quick and simple, and the strips fit perfectly on my indoor growing shelf. Since using these lights, my chilli seedlings have been growing faster with stronger stems and healthier leaves. If you’re starting plants indoors, especially chillies or other seedlings, I’d definitely recommend these grow lights!

I was honestly surprised by how powerful these grow lights are. I moved two of my medium-sized plants into a darker corner and needed an extra set. My Monsteras seems really happy with them, so I'll definitely be ordering another set. As you can see in the photos, the brighter settings are perfect if your plants need more light.

Excellent lights for a seed propagator. Uses little power for bright light. Keeps seedlings with a short stem and sturdy and healthy green colour. Settings timer 6hour 12hour or 16 hour. 12 hour is good for seedlings and produces fast growth. 3 settings for germination, growth and flowering. 5 Brightness levels Decent cable length, USB connectors can be plugged into alternate 5V source or use supplied PSU which are UK Plug compatible just pull the earth pin upwards from its compact storage state. Bought a pack of two (pairs) of these lights. They're as bright as I was expecting for this size/price, and fine for what I need. Come with a range of fixings, and even a couple of USB mains power adapters. I'd hoped that given the stated size of these (42cm) I could somehow fix them into the top of an IKEA ÅKERBÄR mini greenhouse that I have a few small houseplants in (to protect them from my plant-murdering cat). Complete win! The lights have little screw lugs at each end, perfectly spaced to simply slot under the metal clips holding greenhouse perspex panels in place. So a pair of lights can be held in place with no fixings at all - I need to train the cables a bit, but they look great and will give my ropey-looking plants a better chance of survival in my dark, north-facing study. Will try using the second pair to start off some seedlings. The only minor annoyance: as I think others have mentioned, there's an integrated timer/controller unit, so these can't be left set to simply turn on when the external power switches on. This means you can't use a timer or smart plug to control daily on/off times for them, which would have been awesome. Still giving them 5* as they otherwise work great, and I lucked out with fixing them into the mini greenhouse.

Trying out for my indoor ferns as they are not getting enough light. On sunny days, there is enough light in the living room, but this is Scotland. So... To give more reliable lighting I decided to try a grow light to see if it helps my plants not sitting directly on a window sill, to grow better. If it works, I will buy some more. There are various functions for reducing light and light modes for whatever one is growing. I personally am not bothering with the timer: just switching on & off when needed. I don't like the plug supplied: as photographed, compared to my kettle's plug, you can see it doesn't fit a standard wall fitting to plug in.

Nice product, shame it don’t last long, 3 leds off and now started blinking every so often after 6- 8 hours of use, cabe is long and sturdy connection to the remote.

Brought in February and it’s now April so two months I’ve had them and already failing first the timer stopped working which now when the lights are off the little led light flashes blue and it takes a few presses of the power button to get them to come on they flash on and off, the first couple of presses before eventually turning on. I feel they will stop working altogether soon

I like these lights because they are light, inexpensive and get the job done. The packaging was problem free, and I apreciate the extras: you have the options of screws to bolt on to a framework, or sticky strips if you dont want to make any holes. As the lights themselves hardly weigh, the sticky strips work fine to fix the lights onto the glass pannels of my indoor greenhouse without having to buy any extras. I checked out the Lux output with a handheld LX1330B Lux meter, they seem to be able to put out a good 5000 lux at a distance of 10 cm above the leaves, wich is sufficient for my house plants. I found over time this really helps them get through the dark winter months in good health. Ive also been tinkering with the inbuilt timer: it comes in 3-9 and 12hrs, and Im going to tune it to 12hrs in summer and 9hrs in winter, to simulate real light conditions. I find the automatic on-off really helpful as when I try to control them manually I often forget until later in the day, and the plants really like a periodic pattern and not an erratic one. All in all, a good value for a small price, useful to grow plants and seedlings on the kitchen counter, in a dark corner or indoor glass cabinet.

This is exactly what we needed for our seedlings. I've been growing tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and cucumbers indoors (in our laundry room) and using mini greenhouse shelving. We were having trouble getting sufficient lighting for their needs and some had become too leggy and weak as a result. Now we have the six strip lights, which are easily secured to the underside of the shelving - three under each shelf. The light is wonderfully bright and even. The lights come with a timer and a selection of brightness and hue. I'm still unsure which hue to use with the seedlings but, at this stage, I think the brightest light possible is the best as they will be ready to transplant into the garden soon. I will do my research for the new seeds I've sown and select the appropriate colour light when they pop their heads out of the soil. Given the high cost of veggies these days - especially organically grown - I would recommend this method for anyone who has the space. We'll have more than enough to feed our family and friends by the time the plants have matured. Nothing nicer than homegrown veggies and fruit! This lighting system will more than pay for itself.

Easy to set up. I have ours stuck to our tub walls so our plants are relatively out of our children’s reach for knowing things over. Just got them so not sure how well it does for growing but I love the versatility and adjustable settings so far. Will update if I feel the need. Happy with them so far.
