1 year review. Good purchase for kids under 35-40lbs. Lots of fun if you have the space and decent drive way or floors. The sun will fade them and some of the exposed hardware will rust and weather after while if left outside. overall super fun and I even gave it a go as a 6’ 225lbs man so It will hold up to probably anything a small child can do. It’s a great purchase for the price. The assembly is straight forward. The kids only take a few minutes to learn to ride it. Good buy.

Kids love it

My two kids (7 and 3) love these. But they're not made of rough surfaces, even asphalt. The steering column loosens and the steering wheel goes out of alignment. They've worked great indoors for 6 months (and a couple of trips outdoors), but I wouldn't expect them to last too long if you have to repeatedly tighten the steering.

One star and I’m doing this late when I wish I didn’t because in the summer of last year after having it under 6 months and not much use, my toddler is only 30lbs and the sterling wheel came off completely and luckily I was watching because she almost hurt herself after the sterling wheel pulled off and the long metal pole it goes on could have hit her under her chin or her mouth if I didn’t grab her. Was a decent bike but unfortunately have to spend more money on another one without thinking of getting a refund, since I wasn’t the one to buy it.

These are great fun and value, and even more fun if you buy more than one for the kids to ride together or race. Works best on very smooth surfaces like concrete garage floor. They do have a weakness in the steering mechanism where the knurled (roughened) sections can snap off and then it is no longer possible to ride. I attempted a repair that is working so far: 1) disassemble (use a 14 mm socket (the assembly instructions with ours incorrectly said 17 mm)) 2) break off the remaining knurled pieces 3) get a spring doorstop and cut out from the tapered area the section that is just narrow enough to fit inside the steering tube, and just wide enough to fit over the bolt with the conical end. 4) Put spring section over the co ical bolt with the narrow end of the spring against the cone 5) Reassemble and tighten until the steering “wheel” and front wheels are locked together. If it slips, tighten more. See photos.

I purchased this for my high-energy son, who is 7 years old. He loves to ride it down our slightly sloped driveway and in circles in our garage. It's a fun addition to his fleet of wheels. My daughter, who is 11, also likes to ride it from time to time. This reasonably inexpensive ride-on toy is easy to assemble and takes minimal tools and time. The quality seems great, considering big kids have been riding it.

I’m not sure about this car yet. I followed the instructions exactly, and the steering wheel is really unstable and wobbly. Instructions call for a rubber mallet, but don’t include it, so be prepared for that. The back wheels are all plastic, and don’t rotate. So it’s not as high quality as other swing cars we’ve had in the past. I’m worried this thing is gonna bust right away. Kind of disappointing.

Son loves it! His older sister steals it to ride also. Works better in the house on smooth floor than it does on the driveway though. Neat concept but easy for the kids to grasp how it works
