I needed these to shine brass on vintage coach bags. They work well. I find that you need to really keep polishing. It isn’t something you just use to wipe brass once or twice. You will notice that black just keeps coming off. So they work, they just require a time investment. They are easy to use. You don’t have to scrub hard, but you need to keep going over the brass. I will be glad I have them for hardware that cannot be removed from the bag for cleaning. I may use a liquid brass cleaner on hardware that can be removed. I think it will take less effort to clean the brass. The size is good, you need to keep moving the cloth to get to a clean area. The smell is not offensive, but some people might not like the feel of the fabric. Plan on wearing rubber gloves.
