This globe is even nicer than its description. All the countries are clearly defined and the stand is sturdy and attractive. We're very happy with this purchase and would recommend it highly. The fact that it lights up is a real plus and it is so easy to read even when it is not lit.

I love this globe. It's so much easier to read with the light on.

I love it. It has an attractive color scheme and becomes beautiful when you turn on the internal light. The power cord doesn't get in the way and it's USB so you have the option of plugging into a outlet or into any small battery bank. I did the latter so I didnt have to run a cord to the faraway outlet. The font/size is just right for my older eyes, not so much info that it becomes busy and hard to read. The seams match up well and overall it's wonderful for the pricepoint (globes can be astronomically priced). My only complaint, and the reason I give it 4 stars, is the China political slant. It shows Taiwan as a province of China.

I got this for use in homeschooling. So far, the only thing I can tell that may be an inaccuracy is that it appears to call Oceana a continent, when Oceana is actually the region in which the continent of Australia is located. I'm still exploring this globe, though, so it's possible that I'm misreading the level of the font. As we know, there are certain country borders that are currently in flux, but until that's all over and the borders are determined to be set again, you can't really criticize a globe for whether it has guessed correctly or not. NGL I'm old school and wasn't happy that the only decent looking (and decently sized) globe I could find was of the LED backlit variety. I wanted the globe I grew up with. However, when I finally got around to plugging it in....WOW! I'm in love now. The backlight makes an already easy-to-use globe even easier to use. To whomever came up with this idea: I salute you. This globe is BIG. I know that - in terms of imaging the entire planet earth - 13" doesn't sound like much, but I can assure you that it's a lot bigger than it seems. The countries have well-defined borders and each country and it's neighbors are different colors, which makes it very easy to quickly find what you're looking for. The entire base seems to be made of metal, which makes me love it even more. It took me some searching to find out where to plug into it, but I finally checked the bottom axis and was able to get it done. Overall - considering all the complaining I did while I was opening my wallet - now that I have the globe in front of me and I've had a couple of weeks to get acquainted with the quality of it, I can honestly say that I'm very satisfied with my purchase. 10/10 would buy it again.

This is a nice globe. The addition of the constellations is interesting when light.

Excellent! A great product! It lights up beautifully.

This globe is advertised as being illuminated but it isn’t. The constellations light up but that makes the map appear darker. There is no light inside to make the map light up. The globe also lacks full turning capacity so viewing below the equator is awkward. Returning. Seller not helpful.
