This hat provides exceptional sun protection coverage. I use it when walking in the intense South Florida sun, and it has made a huge difference for me. Besides wanting to protect my skin from sun damage and skin cancer, I also have facial rosacea, so protecting my face from heat and sun exposure is very important to me. The coverage is excellent — it protects the top and sides of my face, and even my hair. I even started wearing it while driving because the South Florida sun can be so intense through the car windows. Despite all that coverage, it’s lightweight, breathable, and comfortable to wear in hot weather. Absolutely worth every penny if you spend a lot of time outdoors or driving in strong sun.

Absolutely excellent product. Protect your neck, your face your head and is lightweight made of really good material and has drawstrings so that it can fit snuggly. I bought four of them.

4 stars price & quality One size does NOT fit all and had to modify it for my use. I purchased hat to cover face to stay out of the sun as much as possible but still be outdoors while I do my chemo cream on the face-as their photo shows great coverage but on me it does not cover the nose area only the chin area. Safety pin modification helps but still not ideal, I will search for either smaller size or one that is adjustable. Also with it being on the bigger side it sets so far down on my head- down to my eyebrows, with the cinch pulled tight so it doesn’t slide down further on my head. More ventilation on head area would be great as the hat can become warm if out in the sun a lot with no breeze. Making it work for now because I need the coverage and own the hat. If you have a smaller adult head I would not recommend. If you have a larger head probably perfect as it is a nicely made hate.

Great shade, but not real breathable for ventilation. Easy to overheat while wearing.

Hat is comfortable to wear, wore it the first day, the hat is too big, fit made it keep slipping on my head. Then I got smart, went back to look at the pictures on Amazon and figured out how to make it fit. The string in the back of the hat can be adjusted to make the hat fit my head, this makes the hat much more comfortable to wear. I did not buy it for the heat, i bought it because we have so many mosquitoes here and they love my neck. I have very short hair. This hat helps cover my neck. Over all, I think the hat will work fine for what I need.
