So what the hinges fall off, use some tape, so what the box is hard to open to start with. It does the job fantastically. It's cheap, it protects me form electrocuting myself, a difficult feat at times! There is nothing wrong with this product, just because it's cheap doesn't mean that it won't to the job!

All the clips snapped, but that doesn't really matter. Just wrapped electrical tape around the box.

I have used lots of these in my time. Not an electrician but a competant DIY'er. These boxes make for very safe connections in all manner of projects. Very easy to use.

Not much more use than for connecting two 1.5mm twin and core there's no room for anything else and the case will crack if you apply force to it.Brittle and small.

i purchased these for a installation of spotlights in my house, not much to say about a connection box except it does what it says and delivery was fast, decent price too!

Poor quality. Hard to open and when you can, hinges are brittle and after a few tries to open, snap away.2 Stars.

This product is a great purchase. Great value for the money.

Boxes are perfect size, fit the cable well and hold the choc block in place when closed. Screws included to hold cables in place and screw the box closed when connection is complete. The screw to hold the box closed would be fine if it wasn't for the plastic on the hinge side - more than half of these snapped upon opening and have therefore had to be held closed with tape. Given the boxes are concealed, this was not a problem but a sturdier joint would improve the box.
