However, to have this stuff stick adequately to an old sun damaged inflatable I would plan on spending at lease 20 minutes per square foot in preparation time. If you put it on without thoroughly ruffing up every square millimeter of the surface, it will peel off. If there is any kind of microscopic leak, and the surface was not thoroughly cleaned and abraded, it will bubble and fail. To restore an older sun damaged raft, plan on spending 10-12 hours prep time. If you dont, you will be wasting your time and money. Ours lasted about a week until the sun came out one day and some pressure built up. It blistered and blew out in several areas. I had not prepped it properly. I sanded with 60 grit being careful to get into all of the crevices. Cleaned with Dawn, rinsed, cleaned with acetone and made sure to dry thoroughly. Let it cure for 10 days and it just peels off.
