Easy to use rectangular design
I took a chance ordering this with no other previous reviews in mid-May. After researching other Amazon listings for circular (mostly black) hanging food dehydrators, this is the one I chose. It took about two weeks to arrive, but was worth the wait.Aside from light wrinkles in the mesh from original packaging, it is like the listing images. I dried sage leaves first (now in the steel strainer) inside with a room fan, leaving the zippers open. It took less than a week, which is quick considering how large and thick sage leaves are. The white mesh and wide openings are ideal to see what you are putting inside. The rectangular shape is also more space efficient than round (I own a round black mesh dryer, but do not like it as much as this one). There is also more head space between layers than my round one, good for extra air flow, visibility, and faster drying times. The hanger's multiple nylon straps can be adjusted by sliding at the base of the hook to level the tiers, and the hanging hook is very sturdy (unlike the clumsy velcro of other mesh hangers). The planning that went into this design was thorough!I am currently drying stem cuttings from several oregano plants. I hung it in a kitchen doorway to load efficiently, using metal clips for easy access (which I removed afterward). The underside photo shows how much air can circulate around the herbs. I'm very pleased to have bought this!NOTE: The package comes with a warning to open it away from your body (release of wire tension); I just tossed it into a safe space after taking the elastic band off, lol. I won't have any need to tightly fold it again since it will be in constant use. I've recently begun to hang-dry my laundry inside, and may find additional uses for it.I ordered my second 3-tier hanger after preparing the oregano. I know both of them will be kept in use every week through the entire summer. :-D

Awesome in every way (3-tier)
Thanks to the other reviewers for the advice to OPEN AWAY FROM THE BODY as it does expand quite a bit. I love this drying rack and was able to start using it right away. Great for drying strawflower and other large blossoms because you can keep the petals open by placing them face-down. Wonderful air circulation in the mesh. This is a good xmas gift for someone too.

Great As Clothes Drying Rack!
While I can't attest to its ability for dehydrating food, I can say it is the BEST way I have ever used to dry delicate clothes, sweaters, etc. that are too delicate to place in the dryer. I had always used either the place the item on a dry towel, dry on a hangar, or drape over the shower door. All of those methods, of course, always had some drawbacks. This 3-tier basket works wonderfully, aerates from all sides and leaves no creases or marks on the clothing. Everything dries much faster, as well. When not in use, it collapses completely down and takes up no space at all. Definitely a 5-star item I wish I had found a long time ago!

Multiuse tool for sure!
I gotta say that I love drying my own "mastranto" and mint tea leafs at home, and that was the reason I bought this product. What I was not expecting was the great build quality and durability of it. Like, you can see how amazingly well it holds heavy undies and socks that are made of delicate fabrics so I cant put them on the dryer. Also, amazingly easy to put down and store. I just ordered a second one for my tea leafs cause this one is staying for drying haha.

Great way to dry mint for homemade tea!
We planted a small amount of mint in our backyard garden, and it quickly took over, spreading into a huge patch of mint taking up the entire corner of the garden. We decided to cut it back before it took over the entire garden and crowded out the other plants, but I didn’t want to waste all those beautiful mint leaves, so I started looking into how to dry them to make mint tea. I found this and decided to give it a try. It works great. I cut back the mint, washed and dried it, then spread it in the layers of the drying rack. I hung the rack on a hook out in the sun and have been leaving it in the sun all day every day, only bringing it inside when it rains. The leaves are drying nicely and I’m looking forward to my first cup of tea brewed with my own dried mint leaves.

Versatile drying option with many uses
I ordered this to use primarily for drying spent grains to then grind into flour. I liked the idea of being able to dry them naturally while being protected from any environmental or animal concerns. This drying rack is simply designed and well constructed with a sturdy wire frame, zippered openings, and locking hanger to keep it secure while in use. The four layers offer ample space for drying nearly anything all while keeping things protected from the elements or animals. It is also very easy to move if weather or wind becomes an issue. The mesh is constructed in a way that allows for ample air flow while keeping the items protected and maintained it’s shape when I tested by pulling for any tearing concerns - it is very strong. Storage couldn’t be easier with the collapsible and foldable design making this compact and taking very little space. I also plan to dry chile peppers this summer and now that I have it, I know additional uses will be coming! This drying rack is a great value and provides a perfect solution for unique drying needs.
