Great scanner for trading cards!
Mainly used to scan Pokemon cards. It is a really good scanner as long as cards are flat and flush to the scanner bed. Will not work for slabs as you'll need Ccd scanner tech which this doesn't have. Compact and easily tucked away when not using. High resolution, more than enough for ebay and other platforms. Ignore comments that say that it doesn't work with mac, likely boomers that don't know how to work software. Overall would recommend!

Scanning Fine
Installed easily and works fine, great value although strangely it only operates via the computer as the buttons on the scanner don't seem to function, but not a problem.

Awful, cheap and nasty rubbish.
we bought this to use with a Mac, and the software initially installed ok and the scanner worked fine for a few days. I managed to scan about 100 photos and left it overnight, ready to start the following day. I opened the Mac to find an error message from the scanner software, that it was disconnected from the scanner. No amount of tinkering would get it to work. I disconnected the cable, rebooted the Mac again, and it came back! I managed a few more photos and had to leave it to do other things for a while, but when I came back to it, it had disconnected again, and I had to unplug/reboot everything again to get it working again. This went on and each time it became more difficult to get it going again, and today I came to it and was unable to get it working at all. Right on the very last day of the return window. Some things to note about the scanner. Build quality - The scanner is very flimsy and plasticky. The lid is more of the same. Scanning speed is average to slow, depending on your settings, but in general, this is not a quick scanner at all. The software is ok, nothing special, but does not work well with MacOS Ventura 13.6. If you have a lot of photos to scan and use a Mac, look elsewhere. This scanner is junk.

Very good for the price
We decided to downsize house a couple of years ago and this resulted me scanning 3000 slides and prints from 21 photo albums onto memory sticks and a backup remote hard drive, My old Epson V300 scanner worked perfectly and I have used it since. Three days ago it finally gave up the ghost so I looked for a replacement, I was a bit concerned about the lack of scanners available and was also concerned about some of the reviews but as you can return items to Amazon I thought I would give this a try. It arrived quickly although the delivery guy wanted shooting. This morning I set it up to scan some photographs. Using the auto mode I had VERY mixed results which concerned me. Exploring the scanner menu further I found a photo setting and this totally changed my opinion. The scans at 300dpi were great. The scanner does not have all the facilities of my V300 but it certainly fills my current needs admirably and with absence of more up market scanners on the market I can recommend this one. Setting up was easy. I clicked on Epson downloads UK and typed in the model number, downloaded the drivers and scanning app in a matter of minutes, all at a fraction of the price of my old scanner which cost £250 some 20 years ago.

Glad I only had to set it up once.
This scanner is reasonably quick and works well, BUT it was a bit tricky to set up initially, which was quite frustrating. Also I have added a thin slither of card to the edge of the scanner plate to ensure photos are aligned properly, also frustrating. However, now I’ve sorted out the niggles it works fine.

Epson scanner
A scanner by a reputable manufacturer all for much less than £100. Believe it! Just plug it in and away you go.

At this price it's an excellent scanner
Does exactly what it says on the tin really - very good scanner. Easy to use with a windows pc. Output has been very good and used in a multitude of adobe programs such as lightroom. I wouldn't say this is a pro level scanner but it certainly is better than I expected for the money

Doesn’t work with Surface Pro 11
Recently upgraded my Windows laptop to a Microsoft Surface Pro 11. Found that my Canon LidE 400 flatbed scanner no longer worked. Investigated and found that the Surface Pro’s ARM64 was incompatible. Investigated further and saw that Epson scanners were recommended, because Epson had developed drivers to work with ARM processors. Checked on the Epson website - the ARM driver for the Perfection V39 II was ‘planned’ for 2025. Tried the Amazon vendor links - Q&A website didn’t help. Phone number was ‘unavailable or no longer available’.

Decent quality
I have a Epson printer/scanner, which works very well, but needed something faster at higher resolution to scan in old photos. I needed a flat-bed scanner as a scanner with feeder would not work with the photos I have. I have only scanned in about 200 photos so far, and am 100% happy with the quality and scanning speed.
