Great socks that stay put on your foot!
I really like this line of Thorlo socks. They are very comfortable and my feet dont sweat. I am very hot natured so for me not to have sweaty feet that is a bonus! I am not a runner but I am constanly buying socks to find the right one. I dont like my socks to go up my leg so these are perferct for that. I also have had so many socks that tend to slide all over your feet as the day wears on. The do not slide around. They stay put on your foot. I havent had them a super long time but have washed them at least 8 times. They still look new after 8 washes. Hoping they stay this way for a long time. They seem very well made. Of course, they are not cheap socks but these pair were cheaper than the average cost in your sporting goods store. One last thing, the heal and front of your foot are well cushioned but not to extreme. I'd say just the right amount. Over all i definitely recommend.

Comfortable - a bit expensive
I purchased these because I need effective cushioning for my distance running ( 5Ks and 10Ks). At my age (late 40s) I need the additional shock absorption to reduce potential for injury to ankles/knees. I had bone spurs in my heel before, likely caused by not enough cushion. These socks do the trick very effectively. I also like the color selection rather than the ho-hum white. Although they are more expensive than comparable cushion styles from other vendors, the quality and durability of construction (I've had two pairs for over two years now) are a reasonable trade-off for the expense. Worth it if you can afford it.

Fit good and felt good while it lasted.
I expected a pair or 18$ socks to last longer than they did but that's life. They fit as expected and when you first get them you feel like your walking on air. That feeling doesn't last long though especially after a few washes. The cushioning gets flat after about a month. I have had them for close to a year and they have a hole in the heel already. You would think for the price they would last longer. Also, I would like to note that I am NOT a runner and only use them about twice a week for walking on concrete at work.

Longevity where art thou?
This is not a bad pair of socks. But I question the high price for what you get. The uneven thickness is rather interesting and takes getting used to. I mean there is less support in the arch and more in the ball and heel. Was a rather exaggerated effect for my liking. But even so they are pretty comfy. And at first the material seems very quality, but after only a few days of wear, you can really tell the bottom is starting tk tear away and pill, like you would see on a very cheap 100% cotton sock. So I very much doubt the longevity of these socks. May do an update later to be sure. My advice, if you are interested, just get one pair to try them, but don't order in bulk until you've really tested them yourself.

Great for hot weather running
I have become addicted to these when I am in hot weather. The silk allows the tiniest breeze to cool your feel and the wool pads give excellent impact protection. I wash these by hand; they dry within a couple of hours.I cannot attest to longevity, but I expect them to be less than normally durable due to the silk content. Despite that it is a delight to have dry and not overly hot feet after a two or more hour trek in hot weather. I have already ordered more of them.I tried one time in very cold weather. I will not do that again! These socks work! Use them in heat, not in cold.

These socks have been great for my longer run days when I know I'm ...
These socks have been great for my longer run days when I know I'm going to have light moisture interactions. I did wear them through a Spartan race and they became quite bogged down with the mud where a lighter less padded sock may have been a better choice. However when I'm running in either light rain or the occasional creek splash these socks do very well.

Best socks EVER
These socks, by far, are the best out there! I purchased several for myself a while back, and now have them in just about every color. I would never wear another brand. My feet used to burn after a while on the treadmill or elliptical -- that no longer happens with these socks because of the heel and ball cushioning. My man, who is particular, said this was the best gift he'd ever received. The fit, the comfort, the quality is beyond all others -- yes, they are more expensive but "you get what you pay for".

Blisters!
I really wanted to like these socks but have had constant problems with blisters, particularly at the front of the toes and under big toe. I had my running shoes professionally fitted and had no blisters when using regular socks but since changing to these I have had constant issues with blisters. I think the issue is that the running shoes fit well with normal socks but the wool sections are too bulky. I also agree with other reviewers that once washed they do seem to fall apart a bit, they don't look like they would last. This all said, the socks conform perfectly on my foot and are comfortable. I think is my running shoe was not fitted and slightly larger then these would work well but unfortunately these are not for me.
