The zipper would not stay zipped when bend over the scanner would fall out

I am a City Carrier for the Postal Service and this product has been worth its weight in gold. I use to use the clip holster that attaches to your belt to house my scanner. One day I hopped across a ditch and dropped my scanner. Fortunately, the trash crew was behind me and brought it to me at the next stop. I bought this product the same day and have not regretted it one second. I have not lost or misplaced my scanner since. The only negative thing that I can say is that it makes you look bigger than you are. Nonetheless, if you can deal with that, then this product is for you!!

It would be nice to have one with thicker straps and a place to hold a marker.
