John Landis directs this American comedy starring Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short. Lucky Day (Martin), Dusty Bottoms (Chase) and Ned Nederlander (Short) are a trio of silent film stars - known as the 'Three Amigos' - who have been dropped by their studio. So when they receive a telegram inviting them to put on a show in a remote Mexican village, they are forced to accept. However, there is one problem; the villagers mistake them for real daring caballeros, and the banditos they are being paid to take on fire real bullets. Will the Amigos save the day, or have they bitten off more than they can chew?

excellent!!
The Three Amigos is a really good film, Not exactly in the artistic sense but in the sense that it makes you laugh, a lot, and it even sends over a couple of value messages. These three guys come to a Mexican village, thinking that they're going to give a couple of shows, not realizing that the baddies are for real this time. Each actor has his own personality and special kind of wit, which actually helps win the day, in the end, after many "surprises". I think that if you like comedy, this is for you.

Funny
Right this is not what you would call a great movie or a classic movie but it is definitely an enjoyable one and after watching it you will be doing the 3 Amigos dance we all did in the 80s ask anyone who would have seen it in the 80s and they might even show you a move or two and it is very cheap to get right now so go on like the rest of us you’re not going to be watching the TV one night and put this on and CHILL

A great family film
I bought this to show my teenage children because I have such fond memories of the film (which doesn't seem to get featured on TV much if at all). It is something of a hidden classic, I think. The opening scenes in Hollywood are a bit long, but once the action moves to Mexico it is great fun from start to finish. It is basically a spoof of The Magnificent Seven with some great jokes.

Americans living like Mexicans, what's not to like!
Great fun as three Americans dress up as Mexicans and head south of the border, the funniest part was when they were not allowed back into the USA and were forced to climb over The Trump Wall to get back home. I may of imagined the last bit.

Good DVD version of Three Amigos
Excellent quality DVD to replace an old VHS recording. The only negative aspect is that there is a long, continuous display of Copyright in many languages rather than the appropriate one for the language chosen.

Great film, poorly packaged.
Great film, poorly packaged. The disc clip on this NEW item was broken, meaning that the disc has been getting rattled around whilst in transit.

I remember this from many years ago, and bought it for the family to enjoy. Steve Martin is priceless.
