7N Hazelnut Blonde Hair Color, 5.07 FZ

Having colored my hair for years with harsh chemicals, I was looking for something gentler to restore some shine as well as cover my stubborn grays. I bought this after reading the positive reviews and decided to try it. First of all, my hair is shoulder length and fine textured. The natural color is dark blonde with significant gray at the temples. I usually pull red when coloring, so I chose the 7N to avoid any additional brassiness. The hair color was unusually scented, not chemically, but not botanical either. It was thin and clear, even after processing for ten minutes, so I was a little concerned that there appeared to be no color development. After a total of 40 minutes processing, I washed my hair according to instructions and conditioned it with the packet included. (It should be noted that the conditioner is among the best I have ever used. I absolutely loved it.) The results were beautiful. All of my gray was covered, something that the salon is not always able to do. The color was glossy and natural looking, although I did pull a little red as I usually do. All in all, this is a good product thus far. I did not have the burning, itching scalp as with other hair coloring, and the initial results have been beautiful. I will update my review as I see how the color lasts into the next few weeks.

Naturtint not only doesn't make me itch, it is gentle enough that I can color my hair every month without destroying it. Expect your hair to be a little darker than the picture. I have received many compliments on the color (mixed with a little terracotta blonde) but it does fade to a redder shade (even without the terracotta) as the month goes on. The redder shade is just as nice, just not what you started with. Even with leaving the dye on for 45 minutes my hair still comes out soft. It covers my resistant mostly-salt-and-not-much-pepper grey for the entire month but I do the roots first and don't expect it to last beyond a month. One and 1/3 bottles cover my thick, shoulder-length hair. The shampoo in the box is the best shampoo I've used. It plus the conditioner also don't make my scalp itch. I've been coloring my hair for twenty years and have never been so pleased with a hair color.

Absolutely love this shade and brand. The color is exactly as pictured and it blends away the gray in a very natural looking way. I was so pleased to not have the awful smell or burning scalp that I get with other box color and this one really lasts. I have used it twice and have had no surprise colors, even over blonde highlights. I would avoid using the included shampoo, it made my hair feel awful, but the conditioner works well. Also, be aware that this does contain peroxide and can lighten your hair. I actually went from dark brown to the dark blonde shade on the box after the first use in 40 minutes. I will continue to purchase!

Quick Overview: -Hair was softer, shinier, and seemingly healthier AFTER the dye job. -The hair color does not leave hair looking like one flat hair color. Instead, it seems to pick up several tones of color making it appear more natural. -For the first time in years, I did not have an allergic reaction to hairdye! Although the Hazelnut Blonde hair-dye did my skin tone and natural coloring no favors, it was still a beautiful color. The dye actually enhanced the shine of my hair whereas any other dye would just zap it of all moisture, leaving it like hay. Naturtint left my hair touchably soft, almost as if I was left with untouched, virgin hair. The best part about the hairdye is its natural quality. For once, I was not left with an itchy scalp or allergy induced bumps on the head. My allergies are so bad that it generally takes a few days to recover from the chemicals used in my hair. This time, there was no recovery time. And this more than any other reason is why I will be sticking with Naturtint for my hairdye of choice.

I like this product because unlike other home hair dyes, it doesn’t dry out my hair. In fact, my hair is much more shinier and healthier after applying it.

This is a great cruelty free choice. I always used L'oreal and loved it. When I went to only cruelty free beauty products this was one thing I missed very much. But I found Natuurtint and I am so happy with it, I have tried both 6N and 7N and they both turn out beautifully, You can check on their website and see a good display of the colors available. My results were very accurate to that shown on the web page. I'd highly recommend checking there before you buy. Overall I love this and I repurchase every time I color.

I started using this product a few years ago and I love it. I doubt I will ever get my hair professionally colored again. People stop me on the street to tell me how pretty my hair is! Wow. I don’t miss the damage and brittleness at all. I do miss the packets of shampoo and conditioners they used to put in the box. I prefer those to the heavy quinoa cream, but it’s not that big of a deal.

First time I've coloured my hair myself, i usually get highlights at the hairdressers. I did a sample test of another high street brand and had a reaction and read that this brand was less likely to cause a reaction. Which was true, test was fine. My roots were growing out and too many greys! This was very easy to use although I had help from hubby and I'm super happy with the result. It's done a good job covering the greys. Looks slightly red on my hair but that could be due to the highlights underneath! But I actually love the red tint. I'd definitely buy again.

My review is based on 7N Hazelnut Blond. Easy to use and the box comes with everything you need including gloves. I applied the mixture and combed it though for even coverage, then wrapped my head in cling film and left it on for 40 minutes. I wasn't expecting the greys to all be covered but they were. The colour looked nice although it was darker than I expected, not so much blonde as hazelnut, hence my 4 star rating and not 5. Having said that, I'd use the same colour again because it does cover grey & looking at some of the reviews for the lighter colours they don't seem to fare so well. You don't have to use this for the whole head, there are instructions if you just want to do a root touch-up. Update: The leaflet in the box says that for BEST GREY HAIR COVERAGE use the Natural N shades, Mahoganies M or coppers C. Check the FAQ if you're not sure as there's lots of information for grey hair coverage as well as the mixing of colours. Update update: I also tried 8A Ash Blonde: Lovely colour and covers grey very well. Having said that I did leave the colour on for 40 minutes. I've recently tried 8N Wheatgerm Blond which is a lovely colour and covers grey 100%. Not as dark as the Hazelnut Blonde. NATURAL (N) shades are perfect if you wish to keep your natural tone. ASH (A) shades will add a cool tone to your hair and are ideal for counteracting 'brassiness'.
