Ratchet Pruning Shears Heavy Duty, Hand Pruners for Gardening

These get the job done with ease. Even with arthritis these are easy to use. The ratcheting makes all the difference. Used these on dead, hard, dry branches and it was a breeze to cut through them. They feel and appear to be well made and I look forward to lots of use in our garden areas. The price is right, they make working on plants and shrubs easy. Give them a shot and I’ll bet you’ll be happy that you did.

I just received my second pair of these ratcheting pruning shears. I bought the first pair early this Spring. They are the sort of pruning shears that you always want to have with you when you're outside. A snip here, a bit of pruning there and whether it is something small or a rather bigger small limb, these pruners do the job, easily and well. And with their size, they are easy to carry around with you. I use them as standard pruning shears most of the time, but with the ratchet option I can also easily cut larger limbs as well. They fit my hand well and are just the right shape and the padding adds a lot of comfort. So one pair in the garage and another in an outbuilding. I'm a short 83 year old woman and these shears are a great help. Wish I might have had ones like these decades ago. Very well done Gerossi.

To start, I apologize to the company for not leaving my review last year. I had some unexpected surgery that I had to deal with. I bought their original pruner from the company last April. There's a spring inside the handle that allows these cutters to work as stated. About 45 days after I bought them, that spring went missing and I have no idea what happened to it, as I didnt drop the cutters or anything like that and I dont abuse my tools. I like the tool (as well as the concept) and I needed to use them again. My mother bought me a similar pair from some company on QVC about 35 years ago. THAT pair is finally starting to show its age and break down. So I wanted another pair. Back to the story.... So about 3 or 4 months after I saw that they broke, I contacted the company to explain what happened. All I wanted was that spring, and since it was well beyond the warranty, I expected to pay for it. Gerossi’s customer service was wonderful to speak with, and they offered to replace the (entire) pruners even though the Amazon 30-day warranty had expired. These Gerossi ratcheting pruners work just as well as the much more expensive pair of ratcheting pruners that I received a long time ago. These Gerossi pruners are very well built, and are every bit as comfortable and easy to use. After I received the replacement pair of pruners, I put them to work and they worked perfectly. Even with an arthritic right thumb, these ratchet pruning shears made cutting through 3/4” thick, dried-out branches painlessly easy. These pruners and the seller are both excellent. Over this last year or so, I've already recommend both to a friend and will do it again. And I won’t hesitate to make future purchases from this seller.

The price was totally right for a ratchet pruning shears...it switches from non' ratchet to regular pruning shears...a bonus done with a simple button switch. Very satisfied with with the quality...works very well on small limbs and shrubs.

Ratchet Pruning Shears are awesome. They help trim thicker diameter limbs that regular pruning shears won't allow, unless you have massive hand strength. They're comfortable in your hand, easy to operate, and make pruning so much easier. Well made, strong, and sturdy.

These are by far the best pruners I've ever used. Very smooth cutting action and very sharp, they make cutting almost effortless. Very pleased with this purchase and great value for the price.

Other than the safety latch being tough to engage, these are the best and easiest to use shears.

We bought this to help clear our yard of blackberries. It works intuitivly, and exactly like you would expect. It was SUPER easy to cut large roots. All in all, well worth the money, even when you add in the import fee to Canada.
