It's a very compact, very easy to use wax melting device that does a decent job. My partner and I wanted to dip our toes into the candle making hobby and it has been an almost essential tool for us to do so. It heats up to any temperature up to the max of 257 °F (125 °C) and can hold at that temperature without any issues. If I had to list any problems, I would mention that it is very small, meaning if you're making candles you can really only do one at a time however for jobs where you don't need or want to add color or fragrance, I imagine you would be able to keep the pot topped off with wax as you work on your project.

Easy to use and melt wax in. I love the melting bucket and the handle. The size is just right. It’s not huge, but not smalls holds about 10oz of wax on each melt. Good value for your money. Cleaning is a breeze. I turn it in a low temperature and wipe the wax out of the bucket. I love the temperature control so you can make sure it’s at the correct temperature when adding scents. Comes with a lid so you can cover the wax while it melts. Awesome quality.

I purchased this to wax seal bottles and I couldn't be happier. It takes a little bit of time to get a pot of beads melted but it melted to a consistent smooth liquid state without overheating. It is very user-friendly and the removable inner pot makes it easy to clean.

Great value for money but only melts enough wax for about 2 7oz candles at a time. Has an easy to use temperature dial and the light turns green or red to indicate if it has reached the right temp. I wish it had a more pour friendly spout of some sort but at the same time, I haven’t had any huge issues with the wax running down the outside. Great starter for someone

I love it does it's job easy to use and quick to melt the wax when you put it 219 F° or higher I do 229 F° to melt faster comes two sets of gloves a tiny basket which is cute and doesn't tilt over while you are using the bucket I love it will recommend my friends it's very safe to use and I have a cat and doesn't bother him very quiet as well don't mind the mess.

I'm having two problems that make me not recommend this for candle making. 1) I don't feel my pot is making good contact with the base. I know what temperature my wax is supposed to melt at and nothing melts unless it is at the max setting which is really dangerous. 2) The removable pot is very poorly designed with a handle that is hard to grab without burning yourself of the edge of the pot and NO SPOUT. I should have looked more closely at the pictures. Not having a spout means if you pour from the pot you'll have wax dripping down around the sides. Bonus #3) the edges of the inner pot are not rolled so they can cut you. It might work well to keep wax warm for paraffin hand therapy or waxing or for melting glue for flower arranging, where you have the material sitting in the pot pretty much all the time and just want to keep it warm.

GREAT for making candles at home! It’s super lightweight, easy to use, and easy to clean! The gloves are a super helpful addition. I wish it came with something to stir with, but that’s about it. Also, the container is small enough to store away easily, which is a bonus.

This machine does not have British plug its a USA one but I bought a universal plug converter and the machine works lovely. Easy to use and I made 8 candles today. For a beginner I was very impressed with it all.
