lightweight and user friendly
I am disabled and deal with a lot of pain in my wrists and use a wheelchair and I highly recommend this to other disabled folks. I really appreciate how lightweight this vacuum is and how easy it is to swap to handheld. we will see how long it's lasts but it is working very well so far, and we have three cats and my girlfriend also sheds a lot. it's not too loud and I appreciate the light function to see the cat litter I missed! highly recommend.

lightweight and does the job
I ordered this vacuum after researching a plethora of choices on Amazon, got overwhelmed, and decided to go with the one that had the best customer service. I'm glad I did. Luckily, everything functioned properly when I received it. Set-up was super intuitive. Give it 4-5 hours to charge before the first use. The light flashes when it is charging, and then it turns off automatically when it's done. Very small footprint, with the vacuum upright in its charger it takes up less space than my 10 gallon tall trash can. The suction for this vacuum is exactly what I needed. I wouldn't recommend this for any high-pile carpeting, as I met a moderate amount of resistance just with my lower profile rug on eco-mode. It did pick up a lot of dog fur though with my newer two month old rug. I have a one bedroom apartment with laminate flooring with rugs and this works perfectly. One whole charge was enough for my whole place, even with the turbo-mode activated to vacuum the couch. It picked up all the dog's hair/fur no problem. Actually, just after the first use I emptied the canister and to my surprise there was A LOT of fur that I didn't catch from just sweeping (ew, gross). It also was able to vacuum small chunks of dirt tracked in from muddy shoes; coffee grounds that I dropped, and fur and small pieces of debris tracked in by the dog. I swear I'm a clean person otherwise hahah. For the price point of $100, this vacuum is a winner. It's cordless, it holds a charge for at least 20min which is also perfect for taking down to the garage to vacuum the car...it gets the job done. If you have a bigger house that has plusher carpet, I would spend a bit more money to get a more sturdy unit. Otherwise this is perfect for a small space with hard surfaces. I imagine this would be great for picking up kitty litter too if you have cats.

Seller has a problem
Awesome little vacuum. My husband bought me one of these -different brand- at a yard sale several years ago and I loved that one but it's starting to die. Was going to order the same one from Amazon but was so surprised at the price (not in a good way) that I kept looking. There isn't a lot of competition with these smaller vacs. When I came across this one I was immediately drawn to it for several reasons - lithium battery for starts, the lights which let you see every speck of crud on your floor, two power levels and the charging base - just pick it off the base and go!. Had to plug/unplug my other one every time I used it. Have had this vac for a week. Love everything about it. My other one is a real clunker compared to this one. Hardwood/laminate floors basically need vacuuming every day or two and this vac makes that job small and easy. It's lightweight and easily manuverable. By far beats having to haul out the big vac which is heavy, hard to get under the kitchen/dining room chairs, etc. This little one just zips around and under everything with the power it takes to suck up crumbs, dust or whatever is laying on the floor. It was a bit more expensive than some other ones but well worth the price. And it's rare to have a company contact you and make sure you're satisfied but these guys do. Their attention was greatly appreciated. I just bought a new car and we all know how that goes - once you hand over the check you don't exist anymore. Update 03/01/2020 Still love this vacuum, but not for much longer. Had a problem with the charging base about 10 months after purchase. One of the base charger contact prongs collapsed downward which prohibited it from charging. Did a gerry-rig job on it and intended to contact manufacturer. Since it was charging I kind of forgot about it and when I did get in touch with them it was almost 8 weeks beyond the warranty. They were as congenial as when I first bought it. Asked for a few puctures, which I sent right away. They emailed me the next day stating their team could tell the base was defective and they were sending a replacement. Estimated arrival 10-12 business days. They are in Canada, I'm in North Idaho- kinda like neighbors. I was beyond happy because I planned on dying with this vac. At 22 business days I re-contacted them to let them know I had not received the new base. They asked me to wait a few more days- said Canada Post was sort of slow. No problem. Waited another 10-12 days, still no package. Contacted them again, they assumed the package was lost and would be sending another. Please wait another 10-12 business days. Repeat first scenario. Another contact and I asked if they could track the package which they stated was more expensive. Third offer to send. Told them if they were 'jerking my chain' for their entertainment purposes I wasn't appreciating it. If they had asked for the base to be returned I gladly would have sent it. If they had asked me to pay the postage I gladly would have. They asked for pictures, which they got. And you guessed right - third one never showed up either. So you might want to factor this into you decision to purchase or not. Failure at 10 months makes this vac a little expensive. Granted, I dragged my butt just outside the warranty period in contacting them. My mistake. But I would rather have heard 'Sorry lady, Can't help ya' instead of being jerked around the block for 2+months. 4/19/2020 Had to bury it this weekend. First time in many years of shopping on Amazon I had to deal with a less than honest seller.

Great Stick Vacuum!
So far, very satisfied. Works well for quick pickups when you don’t want to pull out the big vacuum. Does a very good job!

Edited twice, not worth the hassle
I have had 4-5 of these vacuums over the years. They have repeatedly replaced them when they've failed under warranty, which I appreciate, but the last time I had to pay to ship it back to them and then the new on they sent me quit working within 6 weeks - same problems as the last 2 I had. Some wiring short causes the light and brush roll to quit working. If these worked as designed they would be a dream, I have recommended them to so many people, but I'm done with it. Seems like the quality has just gotten worse and worse. OLD REVIEW: This is a handy little vacuum and I would definitely recommend it. I was on the fence, since our corded vacuum is perfectly fine, but this has changed my life! It's extremely lightweight, the swivel action is SO easy to navigate around furniture, the suction is decent and the battery life is great. I especially love that the battery automatically stops charging when it's reached capacity so that it doesn't burn out; every other plug in Dustbuster or vacuum we've had ends up barely holding a charge when they are plugged in charging 24/7 for too long. My house is 2500 sq ft and has dark wood floors constantly left dirty by 3 cats, 1 dog, 2 kids, and a husband. We have a nice Oreck for deep cleaning, but I pretty much only pull that out once every week or two and use this stick vacuum every day or every other day in between. I can easily do a quick sweep of the entire house on a single charge and still have life left. It doesn't pick up everything - it does great with hair and cat litter and crumbs, not so great with big things like cheerios. It works well when level with the ground, but if it's not hovering right over something it can't suck it up, so like if one side of it runs up on the edge of a rug or something else not level, it won't do a good job. Initially I had only given 4 stars because I was having a hard time squeezing my fingers into this little crevice to clean out the hair and gunk that got stuck in part of the filter. After I posted my review, I got an e-mail from the company explaining how to simply twist the red part to separate it and making removing any stuck debris a breeze! MIND BLOWN. I had no idea it came apart and I'm so glad they company contacted me to give me this tip. Get yourself one of these - it's a great investment and totally saves my sanity for less than $100.

Excellent Vacuum, but.......
First, I want to say this is probably the best cordless stick vacuum I have ever used in terms of functionalities and convenience. I own multiple of them. There are a lot to like about this vacuum. However, there is a MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR design flaw that caused all of my units to break for the exact same reason. I will get into it later. But first I want to cover the pros. Pro: 1. Excellent battery life, even after repeated charging, there is no degradation in capacity. 2. Very easy and comfortable to use. Great suction and cleaning power. 3. Rubber bumper around the roller head so you don't have to worry about bumping into Furnitures. 4. Bright light to show where the dirt is. 5. Easy to maneuver Now, now the biggest problem. All my units have broken for one reason, the roller head stopped working. The roller brush does not work anymore after less than a year of use, granted, I use it on a daily basis. You can still use it as a hand vacuum as the motor and battery still works great, but you can no longer use it for floors. I took the roller head apart and found out the cause. There are two wires that connect the vacuum to the roller head to power the roller and the LED light. The two wires are too thin and very easily break. If you twist and maneuver the vacuum too much as most of us do on floors, it will eventually break the thin wire, causing the roller head to lose power. It happened on all of the units I own. I tried to fix it by reconnecting the wires, but eventually it will break again. This is very sad!!!. because I love this vacuum. I tried to use other brands, including some brand names, but none of them is as nice and easy to use as this one. However, given it has this major design flaw, I can't use them anymore. The problem can be easily fixed by making the wires thicker and more durable, or putting some sleeves around it to protect it. I hope the manufacturer will see this review and improve their product.

Simple and quick to use
Initial Review Sept 5, 2023 We received this vacuum about two hours ago. So How can I write a review and give it five stars already? It is because we've had one, almost identical, for six years. This one is not only similar but actually looks like a design upgrade rather than a whole new design. It is a different brand but I wouldn't be surprised that it was a design purchased from another company. Six years ago I set out to find a cordless vacuum. There are many instances in which hauling out the regular corded vacuum was just a lot of bother. I didn't want a battery powered vacuum that I would have to remove the battery to charge it, nor did I want an internally rechargeable battery that I would have to plug into AC power. This design, with the powered base, was for us the best design. Just lower it into the stand and it starts to charge. We used that previous vacuum almost daily for six years when it started having trouble with the power switch on the handle. I didn't even try to fix it, thinking that parts for a six year old model would not be easy to find. Besides there are now several cordless vacuums on the market that use a charging base. The price of this new vacuum is about 1/2 the price we paid for the old one. The new vacuum arrived, I unpackaged it, put it in the place where the old one was kept, and threw the old one in the trash. My wife used it this evening to clean up under the parakeet cage. She said it was fine and just like the old one. This new vacuum is quite similar in design yet it is a bit lighter, seems to have a bit more suction, and it has a row of headlights. Our use normally involves no more than 5 minutes of use each time we put it to work. We don't have harry pets. Our floors are normally quite clean so this is just used for spot cleaning, not whole rooms. I recommend this vacuum.

A surprisingly good vacuum for the price
Details Price : I paid $90 on Amazon Prime Day House type : We have hardwood floors on the mainfloor with a few rugs. Upstairs we have carpet. Dirt Level : We have 2 cats and a dog and while we are clean people they shed an impressive amount. Review Packaging: The vacuum comes in a surprisingly nice box and all the components are packaged up nicely. my vacuum came roughly 50% charged from what i could tell from the battery indicators. Usability: While the vacuum is light on attachments (you get just one), it is INCREDIBLY low profile. I was very shocked by the fact that i could run it completely under my king bed and it reaches places my Roomba struggles to get to. The light on the front of the vacuum is a godsend and makes it possible to vacuum without every light in your house on. It also shows you just how much hair and dust can hide in little places you may not be able to get with a larger vacuum. Suction: I think the suction is what i would classify as "good enough". Its not going to surprise you by any means, but i never ran across anything it didn't pick up either so i have no complaints on hardwood floors. Its also quite nice for runners and other low pile rugs since it doesn't have so much suction it picks them up off the ground and mangles them. However if you have a thick rug or heavy carpet, i think you would be better off with a more traditional vacuum. Cleaning and Maintenance: I enjoy the fact that the filter is removable and washable. It makes it very easy to maintain. However i will say that emptying the dustbin is a bit more of a pain that i expected. its not hard exactly and once you have done it a few times you will never struggle with it, but if you want your 8 year old to do it you might have to help. I also wish the bin held a little more as if you have a lot of hair in the house you may be forced to empty it 2-3 times in a cleaning. Battery: I was able to clean the entirety of my apartment (1800 sq ft) in one charge with no problems. Unless the battery wears down quickly, i don't think there are any concerns about battery life. Final Thoughts: I'm very impressed with this purchase and time will tell how the battery holds up but as for now i love the vacuum and it comes highly recommended.

Great Vacuum
I live in a 600 sf apt and used the vacuum for about 20 mins when I first received it. The battery was still charged. It's so light quiet and light and I didn't think there was that much dust on the floors. It hugs the baseboards, rolls well over hard floors and swivels under the bed. I selected the 'turbo' mode to sweep two small area rugs - they didn't get sucked-up off the floor which is super. The hand-held section is light and the little wand is very handy. The canister is small but that's why this is a lightweight, and cleaning the cup is very easy. The selling point for this model is that there's no need to screw in a wall-mount to keep it up. However, because of the CON below, I'm going to look for a Roomie hepa filter model that also doesn't need a wall mount. The current filter system isn't efficient. MY ONLY CON: My 10+-yr old cordless hand-held vac has a fully washable fabric filter inside what looks like a plastic mesh. The Roomie's small sponge is removable and washable but the paper/fabric-like filter molded into the plastic holder is not - one side is like a tightly woven cotton swab. You can run water through it but not wash the dirt or dust particles trapped in the filter because layers of the swab-like side will peel apart. Unfortunately, two replacement filters for $29.99 + shipping are available only via the dealer, who does appears to provide good customer service ($29.99 for two, plus shipping). The plastic holder is solid and will outlive the vacuum like the one on my handheld. I would suggest that the fabric be removable, washable to drastically reduce the cost and for zero waste. If you're not a die-hard environmentalist, I do recommend this vacuum.

a real little gem
I am very impressed with this little device. I am replacing a Bosch battery vacuum due to the lack of battery power so I looked at newer models of battery powered vacuums. This stood out on all the good reviews it had received. Had this a month scan safely add to the good reviews and I am very critical of vacuums and loath many of the problems they so needlessly produce by lack of thought for the user. Reasons to buy this. Its cheaper but not in product quality. It has excellent suction. It is very light. It is easy to put away on the stand and it does that it bloody stands up!! haleluah. How hard is that Bosch designers !!! It is so easy to make into a hand held so I can now, while it is still running, click off the unit to a hand held and suck round the window sills for the dead flies!! or spiders that think they can live in my house. Not any more!!! It is so easy to empty and put back together. The G tech is crap in comparison as everything is down on the floor this doesn't need you to bend down at all it is all at waist height and where does all this dirt and fluff come from it finds it is truly amazing, no big fuss about cleaning anymore just pick it up and clean it up. To all young mums please train your boys to do this job so a) it normalises men hoovering after themselves and b) if they become designers of vacuums they know what they are supposed to do, vacuum, stand up, and be emptied and put back together without getting the crap all over the user!!

Best vacuum ever!
I bought this after a car accident as I needed a lighter vacuum. My Mom has the same one. It’s been fabulous. My OT recommended one that have the engine/dirt collector bin near the top, but I find them top heavy and painful to use. This is a great alternative and works surprisingly well. It’s got strong suction (just remember to press power button twice) and maneuvers around corners and tight places quite easily. I like the light function as well, bc I can see the dog hair. Is able to fold down, if you need to store it or transport it. I have about 1500 sq ft to vacuum and one battery charge lasts long enough.
