Can this be easily adjusted..to become shorter?

Yes and no. The only way to adjust it would be to cut it, re thread it through the handle and tie a new knot. But then you can't make it larger again. It's not meant to be adjusted. But could be cut and adjusted in the way previously mentioned.

Is the red, blue, and white always pink blue and white?

Ours was blue and white - we do use it lots

Can the jump rope be sized for shorter kids

You could resize it for a shorter or younger child by unknotting it, removing the handle, taking off some beads, and then replacing the handles with a new space. As is, this is the right size early elementary school.
