I hate the tiny 1-2" inseam shorts. These get high marks for the length and for comfort, they are also super light weight and dry very quickly. The only negative is that the way they are constructed, they make me look a bit wider than I am. There is a slight blouse-iness on the sides. The fabric is very soft and the shorts have a drawstring waist in addition to elastic. I ordered a medium and they fit but I let out the drawstring for a bit less of a binding feeling.
