Shorts that don't ride up!!!! *by P***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2015* I have been searching for compression shorts that don't ride up- for years. I wanted them for the gym and for running long distances. I finally found them! These shorts are the best! I tested them at the gym and on a 3 and 12 mile run. Virtually no movement! They breath very well and the rise on them is just enough to be sliming but not to tight or uncomfortable. They stay put on your legs without any kind of rubber grippers. I think its the fabric and the way they are cut that helps them stay put. They have a leg band that is fitted but nothing like cycling shorts and they are not too tight.I ordered size Medium--I am ~140lbs and 5'9" with big thighs, so finding compression shorts that don't ride up was very difficult. These are the perfect fit! Also, for racers, there are so many pockets. My 'Gu' packs stayed put-enough room for about 4 packs- and shorts were still breathable with my water belt.They only thing negative that has come up is on about mile 5, of a 12 mile run, I felt a little bit of chaffing-down there- but after a little adjustment it went away. I think it was because the gusset in the crotch is NOT very big. But after everything found its place it was fine. I ordered a medium because I already own a Med. Skirt Sports running skirt. They are a little snug and I could go up a size, but I'm hoping to lose a little more weight. After running a 4 miler, the legs stayed in place and never rode up!! Not because they are tight around the leg, but because of how well they are made. They are very comfortable!! I also like the handy dandy pockets! One on the leg for my IPod and the one in the back for my house key. The 4" length is perfect for summer. Due to unseasonably hot and unexpected temps I had to do a last minute clothing switch. It was 85 degrees and too hot for pants. I was only able to run 3 miles in them to test them out and I felt confident enough to wear them for the marathon. Which is highly unlike me... I set a new personal record by 5 min.
