Tuga Boys Flap Hats - UPF 50+ Sun Protection Sun Hats

I'm so happy I bought this hat. My 3 yr old son has about a 20 inch head, so it's just a touch too big but he'll just grow into it. He is very fair skinned, with white blonde hair. He has many hats but I like in particular about this hat is this: the back flap not only protects from the sun but it also keeps the pesky gnats and mosquitos off his neck! We was sporting a wide brim hat for awhile, which kept the sun off his ears, face, and neck, but it wasn't enough to keep the flies off (his neck, ears, and sides of his face). You'l notice in the picture there is a coil thingy around the hat-- that's one of those bug repellent bracelets. For some reason the flies swarm around his head so I threw one on-- it helped. The coil also helped keep the back flap from flapping up in a heavy breeze. GENIUS, if I do say so myself :D. Material is also very light and seems to be well made. Just came today in the mail so we'll see how it lasts. I love it!

Best sun hat I've been able to find! I love it. My (almost) platinum haired, fair skinned boy loves it. He's been doing cannonball off the side of the pool for about half an hour and it hasn't flown off his head once. He's five with an average sized head and it fits just fine and I'm almost positive it will fit for the next few years. We have a long standing history with Basel cell skin cancer in our family so I take every precaution possible. I love the fact that the brim doesn't fall down not matter how wet it gets. I love the fact that it has towel material around the crown of the hat on the inside to keep sweat out of his eyes. It's really is a perfect hat. Doesn't look babyish at all.

Great hat!This is a very nice quality, very vibrant blue hat. It fits perfectly on my 4yr old son (21" circumference head), and he loves it. The actual 'cap' fits perfectly but is not too snug, and the 'flaps' around the side and back are a light weight material that should not make him sweat, or bother his neck. All in all a very nice product. I would definitely recommend.

this hat barely fits my 2 1/2 year old son, but the fabric is soft and the coverage is good.

I love how well this style of hat keeps the sun off my kids faces and necks, and both of my boys prefer this style over bucket-style sun hats. I think they look really cute on kids too, and I frequently have people comment on them and ask where I bought them when we're out. My son just turned 3 and the Large size fit him perfectly. Stays on his head well, even with a breeze.

This doesn't stay on my child 's head.the circumference did correctly, as described. But the top is too "shallow" so it doesn't stay on. I've run into this shallow type of hat before both in my own hats and my kids hats, and they are annoying to wear. Because the fabric in this hat is not stretchy, you can't pull it down as you could most swim hats.

My daughter got one of these a few years ago and it's still working well and looks great. Got one for my 8-year-old son this summer and within one use the stitching was fraying and coming apart. Plus, it was def on the small side, not covering all of his neck. Given price, I'm a bit annoyed at the poor quality.

Fantastic hat! Son absolutely loves it, wants to wear it all the time. Perfect to keep sun off his neck and ears. Lightweight to keep him cool and waterproof. Fits perfectly. Good brim to keep sun out of his eyes. Cute as well :)
