This is a great product !
This is my first foray into inverter generators, having always used plain 240v machines. Took it whilst using a friends boat last week, just in case, as my wife likes to use the microwave a fair bit and we would be without any EHU. Turned out the boat batteries were shot which left us stranded after our first night out. I knew the generator has a battery charge function so started to use that, turns out this was very slow for this size battery so realising I had the EHU adapter I connected the generator to the EHU plug, fired it up and the boats 50a charger did the rest. 5 minutes later the boats started up and we were on our way. On ‘low idle’ the generator is quiet but when using a lot of power, there is very little difference between the noise on this model and any other one. It does score highly for weight, this was the 1200a model and it is quite small, enough to just tuck away. We ran it overall for maybe 3 hours in total and it had used only a small amount of fuel. It starts easy, I always stop it by turning off the fuel and letting it drain the carburettor fully. I did make the mistake once of forgetting to let it stabilise before plugging in for mains, the result was that no power was forthcoming. I suspected a defect but re-reading the instructions brought home the need for letting it run for two minutes before requesting power. For the price, it’s a great, easy to start and versatile machine. The included accessories are very useful too.

perfect Generator
This Generator works perfect very quite and works a 600 watt grinder perfect, and I use it every day, easy to start and good on fual. I think this Generator could work a 1000 watt plug in easy, I am very happy with this Generator, its a bargain...

Just the job not not very lightweight
Perfect - not very portable but easy to start and runs reasonably quiet - primarily in use filling rat holes whilst charging batteries.

Impressed...
Generator runs as it should. Nice and compact and runs fairly quiet. Good for camping etc. It's quite lightweight for a generator. Runs on petrol, I'd advise using the premium petrol as I would use in any four stroke engine. Add oil, 10w30 and away you go. Good backup for a power cut etc and not too expensive to have sitting in the shed. I bought it with my own money and my review is an honest review from a buyer. I'd recommend this for camping and garden, home use. A tip is when you start it let it run for 5 minutes on full choke then gradually slide it to run. I find it runs quieter if you let it warm up on the choke. Absolute must for off grid camping.

stopped working and wouldn’t start again
Everything was fine but then stopped working after less than 2 months. It’s a shame because it was good little generator until it broke

Good bit of kit
Easy to use the oil is easy to over fill so keep an eye on that.not as quite as I thought. It did charge my battery pack very fast as if on the mains. Not to heavy to move around nice big handle. It does dribble from the exhaust port would buy again

Lightweight and space saving
Bought this in addition to my 3kw generator that I mainly use to charge my batteries through a 30 amp charger on my boat. I used this 1200w for the first time today, very impressed!, so much lighter and smaller, carrying it down to the pontoon was a doddle, and it won’t take up as much room on the boat when we go on long trips and need to top up the batteries when we stay over for a couple of nights. It is quieter than others I’ve heard, I could easily hold a conversation when stood near it. The generator Started 2nd pull out of the box and first pull every time since. Be sure to buy some oil because it isn’t supplied with the generator, it’s left dry for shipping purposes which makes sense. Well worth the money so far, considering a decent 200w solar panel is £200. I had a voucher for £50 so it was a better option for me. See how it stands the rest of time.
