I’m So Glad I Took A Chance
If you try to assemble this while you’re having a migraine attack, of course it will be difficult. I assembled it and fit it for my head before I needed it. I keep it on a Tupperware bowl to hold its shape and store the whole thing in my freezer. When I need it, I drape a pillowcase over my head (because the freezer gets it too cold but the refrigerator isn’t cold enough for me), add the “helmet” and lie down on a soft pillow to protect the frozen bags from puncture, because I don’t know how durable they are when frozen solid. It works fantastically well! The only thing that would make it better would be ice packs that go below freezing and remain soft. Since they cost 3-4 times as much, I tried this one first and am glad I did.

Nice Icepack for Shoulder
Had rotator cuff surgery and ordered this to help with pain and swelling. I'm really happy I did, it freezes fast and is comfortable to wear. Only caution is that it may be small for some people. I'm a petite female and it fits me perfectly.

Covers your whole head, lasts about 30mins, mine is in the freezer in its bag ready to go at all times.

I get terrible migraines. Obviously you do too or you wouldn’t be reading this. I bought a different migraine ice type hat that just pulls over your head and is made out of almost like spandex. It is ok, but there isn’t any ice on the top. Most of my migraines need some ice on the top of my head, too. This migraine hat covers EVERYTHING. I wear it for about 45 minutes until I need to put it back in the freezer to refreeze. I can walk around (if I have to), I can lay down, and sit up all while having no issue wearing the hat. The band is stretchy and uses velcro to adjust to your comfort. I love this thing. I store mine in the freezer in the bag it comes in. i do not remove the ice pack while redressing because it’s too much work to take out and out back in the hat. 10/10
