Love this thing! A pleasure to use!
So convenient. Great design. So easy to clean and store! When I first saw this as I was looking to replace a lost popcorn machine for two people (although you can easily use this to make multiple batches) I liked how this looked. It looked like a good design: compact, easy to store, and easy to use. Well, it works like a charm. All you do is fill the round center cavity with popcorn (1/4c), place the clear top on and plug it in (no switches to wear out or break; you simply pull the plug after about 2 1/2 minutes when the popping is over). Couldn't be simpler or easier. Then just put the lid on (leave it off so that the air holes for popping heat are exposed) and turn the whole "stack" of two pieces (base, and bowl with handle) over and remove the bowl. The base stays free of any "pop dust." When finished eating just shake the bowl and brush it out lightly if needed, and the base fits into the bowl. The cord wraps around and into the base for neatness by the way. They thought of every single thing- and it makes for a truly smart and neat design. It just works ALL AROUND. Get it- you'll love it.

Absolutely the Best Popcorn Maker
Was a bit put off by the $55 price but really wanted a hot air popper. For healthier option. Tried cheaper one first. Returned it immediately. Kernels blew everywhere. Even hitting my body and burning me. That does not happen with this popper! After reading countless reviews and considering the microwave silicone option too. Plus watching customer videos, we decided on this one. Price and all. Have never had better popcorn, ever. Not an overstatement. It gets better. The top acts as a bowl. You just put the plastic lid on it after popping up to half cup of popcorn kernels and flip the unit over and all the popcorn is in the bowl. Best popcorn I have ever had. Including any movie theater popcorn, ever, in my 60 years. Thatโs saying something. I know thatโs hard to believe. I was shocked myself. It seems that whoever engineered this popcorn maker, knew just the right temperature to heat the popcorn kernels. That also meant fewer unpopped kernels. Not going to say there were none but there were so few that I have trouble finding any. While the machine is popping, any kernels that fly out of the spinning heater mechanism slide back down into it. Then they can be popped. All because of the perfect slope that allows the kernels to slide down while the popped corn keeps popping into the open space above. We do not use the clear plastic bowl to put butter in. Because the slat in the bottom that let the heat out while the popper is cooking would be hard to clean. So we just dumped the popcorn into one of our spaghetti, cooking pans. Then dribble salted melted Organic Valley butter, that weโve heated in the microwave, over the popcorn. Mixing it with a slotted spoon. That makes everything on the Presto popcorn maker easier to clean with just a damp paper towel. And a soap and water wash out of the bowl and lid after a couple of uses. It even gets better than that. The bottom part of the popcorn maker has a slot for the cord to be wrapped into it. And the entire bottom of the unit fits into the bowl. The unit doesnโt touch the bowl at the bottom. Meaning any counter dirt doesnโt touch the bowl. And it takes up very little space! Heating unit does not stay hot. The whole bottom stays nice and cool throughout. One final note. There is an on and off switch. So that means you donโt have to worry about it turning on as soon as you plug it in. I cannot think of a single negative. They thought of everything. We liked it so much, we bought another one for our camper. Making popcorn once a week while watching sporting events on television or movies. It was actually worth every penny. How often can you say that anymore?๐ฟ

LOVE this!
I love this formfactor, it's well built, easy to set up and run, pops quick, virtually zero cleanup or dishes, and takes up half the space of traditional air-poppers when nested for storage. It works really well, and I love the taste of air popped popcorn. As a bonus, since no oil was used to pop it, it's overall less greasy and guilty feeling, so I can add a little bit of butter to it. The amount the 8-cup sized one is perfect if my partner and I want to split a large bowl. My only complaints are: 1. The little outer shells of the kernels tend to fly out the vents at the top. I'm not sure how to prevent this, but they do make a bit of a mess on my counter. Maybe even smaller, more numerous vents would prevent this? 2. I don't like plugging it in to make it start, (minor PTSD from being shocked doing this with a different appliance before), and I would prefer an on/off button.

THE BEST GREATEST MOST FANTASTIC popcorn machine EVER!
I've searched hi and lo for a satisfactory popcorn machine. I figured I would never find one with the ones I've gone through. The typical ones (white one pictured) I find a lot to be lacking yet "almost" the only ones you can find. BUT this new one, first one pictured, is the BOMB. So, all the good points: 1. It pops MOST of the kernels...second pic...I believe there are about 8 kernels unpopped. 2. I can carry it with ONE HAND...this may not sound like a big deal but when your popcorn and machine are stored elsewhere, I want to be able to carry both! All the others, I have to carry with two hands, and the top plastic falls off etc etc. 3. Popcorn does not FLY EVERYWHERE! The others, I have to vacuum and find all the strays on my counter. 4. It is nice and compact and everything fits together...even the cord!! The other popcorn machine pictured (I bought both the green and white at the same time and had a similar one that I used previously (same or close to the same color to the one I like) that I HATED!! It was the WORST). I digress...you can see in the 3rd and 5th picture ALL the kernels that were not popped in the white one. The 3rd pic is all that was in the bottom of the bowl after being popped and the 5th picture is still what is in the popcorn machine after being popped. For comparison purposes, I put 1/4 cup in each machine. The poplite can only hold 1/4 cup (and, DO NOT overfill!!!) and I put the same amount in the white one so kernels would be equal. The last picture is where I took all the kernels from the bowl and bottom of white machine and popped them in my poplite. You can see, even after the kernels ran through one machine, the poplite AGAIN popped almost all the kernels. I am telling you, this is the BEST machine I've EVER had. 1/4 cup is not a lot of popcorn so for two people, you will have to pop twice but it is super fast so this is not an issue. One caveat...it does not have an on/off switch. If they could make any changes, this would be it. EVEN without this, I would give it 10 stars if I could I love it so much!!

Perfect Personal Popcorn Popper!
I have tried many different types of popcorn poppers, and I can say without a doubt that this has been the best one so far. I have had this popper since March and I will never look at another popper. It pops kernels quickly with very little wasted kernels. Popcorn stays contained in the popcorn โcoverโ (which doubles as a bowl once the popcorn is popped and you flip the whole thing over) - no more flying popcorn kernels! There is very little to clean up, and itโs so easy to clean, especially since no oil or butter is used during the popping process - just air! And popping is quick - about a minute and a half for the maximum amount of kernels (just use the metal popping chamber as your guide for the maximum quarter cup amount). And the noise level while popping isnโt very loud at all. Make sure you follow the directions! DO NOT pop the popcorn with the lid on (which one of the customer videos shows). It could damage the popper by covering the vents. They need to be unobstructed to let the hot air escape during the popping process. (I accidentally left the lid on once and the pressure and heat built up, blowing the lid off of the popper halfway across the room! I was lucky I wasnโt in the way.) Once the popping is done, THEN you can snap the lid on to the top of the cover/bowl, so when you flip it over the popcorn bowl now has a base. It really is easy. The only detractor is that there isnโt an on/off switch. I though that would be a deal breaker, but I quickly got used to it. Thereโs not much more to say. Great quality, great performance, and a great healthy snack! And a great value for the money!

Lives up to all the ๐ reviews
Finally! A hot air popper that doesn't blow kernels all over the kitchen! I bought the cheapest store brand kernels as a test and it pops them up nice and fluffy, with very few unpops. 1.5 tbsp makes the perfect mid-afternoon snack size serving. Highly recommend.

Perfect popcorn every time but no on/off switch
Pros: * Excellent, fresh popcorn every time * No oil means healthier * Almost no cleanup (no oil also means no mess) * Good price Cons: * There is no on/off switch. That's right, you just plug it in and it starts blasting hot air in a tornado pattern. If you can load up the kernel holder, put on the top, and THEN plug it in, you will be fine. If you are the type that likes to plug in your appliances first (or leave them plugged in), then load them up, THEN turn them on, you will get un-popped kernels all over your kitchen. * It rains popcorn dust when it operates because the top/receptacle has a mesh-like pattern. This is so the air can heat the popcorn, so it makes sense. This is also the only cleanup, and it isn't that bad. The whole system is simple and intuitive, and I don't see how they could avoid the dust. Again, it's minor. * This is more of a pet peeve, but on the device it says: PRESTO Poplite my munch So PRESTO is the company name, and Poplite is the name of this appliance. What is "My munch?" It's an unnecessary slogan that I have to endure looking at every time I make the popcorn. Maybe some of you will find it endearing; somebody at PRESTO sure did. I use it daily, and only rage about "my munch" when I absentmindedly try to pour kernels into the device after plugging it in. Seriously, why is there noon/off switch? Conclusion: Totally worth the purchase, but no on/off switch is frustrating.

PLEASED WITH THE HOT AIR POPPER
Im really enjoying this new hot air popper. The top doubles as a container which is very handy . It also pops very quickly and doesn't need to be warmed up .I recommend this hot air popper.... But is quite noisy and very pricy for what it is so it scores 4 stars rather than five

Best popper I've had!
I absolutely love this popper. I have had a variety of poppers over the years, some good and some not so good. This is the only popper I've had that has popped every kernel almost every time. It might miss 2 to 3 kernels, if that. Don't let it's size fool you. It's compact and does not take up much space in the cupboard, which is a bonus. We use it regularly and hand wash the parts. I 100% recommend this machine and am very happy with it.
