**Q: Are these sponges washable? How long do they last?**
A: Absolutely fabulous and will last a long time.  I am on my first one and think it will be my only sponge for at least a year if not more.

**Q: Does this break down in a landfill or Is it made of toxic plastic?**

These Foam Bath Sponges are made from a high quality PU Foam - they are not natural sea sponges, so won't break down quickly in a landfill, but will provide a longer life , and there are many ways to reuse them for other things after their time as a shower mate are done!

**Q: Do u have to switch it out after 1 month like most shower sponges and cloths?**
A: Hi there, thanks for your question! How often you switch it out depends on your personal usage, but we'd generally suggest 6-8 weeks as a range. They may hold up much longer than that, but it's still a good idea to swap in a fresh one for best hygiene. Thanks again!

This is my second purchase of the myHomeBody bath sponge, which says a lot. It’s a comfortable size and unlike many loofahs, it stays firm after repeated use and I’ve had no issues with fraying or material breakdown. It provides good exfoliation without being harsh and rinses clean. The only downside is the rope hanger, which has a tendency to untie over time on several I’ve used. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s worth noting. Overall, a durable, well-made bath sponge that holds up better than most — just wish the hanger was more secure.
