VERY helpful!
I believe this is my 1st review and I've been an Amazon regular for MANY years but I HAD to tell others how much this little bag has helped me. Sadly I had to have an ileostomy placed temporarily due to a surgery last week. It is a pain to deal with. As the bag fills up, the weight is on the actual intestine and it freaked me out. So I bought this little bag and it no longer does that. It feels a LOT more secure too having a velcro belt around your waist. I highly recommend this little bag. I'm ordering a second one so I have another one when I put it in the washing machine (yep, it is fine but I do hang it to dry.

Water proof yes… but caused my bags to leak
Wish I could say it worked well for me. It was promising at first: I bought this mainly for added support and to lift my ostomy bag up just enough so it would be concealed underneath my shirt without having to tuck it in when I’m out in public/work. I’m afraid to say that for some reason, on both occasions that I wore it for extended period of time, it resulted in my bag leaking. Could be user error, maybe I tightened it too much, or it was too small for my ostomy. Either way it made me afraid to put it on at all. As far as it being water proof, this might be the only upside I found. My bag stayed completely dry in the shower.

Poor engineering
I was disappointed when I received the pouch because there is no flap at the top to put the ostomy bag under. When showering, the water got inside the top back of the pouch and everything got wet. The engineering was poor and no thought was given to the possibility/probabillity that water would get into the back at the top and the entire bag would weaken and fall off leaving a mess. I would not buy this again. Plus, the strap was very tight. Could have been longer for a larger man.
