Does what I needed
I wanted to put in some downlighter spots, did the job well, just make sure you use a drill with a clutch, or grip your drill well because if it sticks you feel it whip round on you, that's not down to this, it's simply the nature of the job using such tools if you are not square on into what your drilling.

Works OK on a shed
I bought this to create two holes in a wooden shiplap shed in order to install vents for ventilation. It worked reasonably well, given my nervousness at using it. But, possibly due to my hesitancy, it did initially skid across the wood and then stop spinning as I was using it. But that was due to using too much pressure. Once I got the knack, it was relatively easy to use. I bought this 150mm hole cutter to install 150mm vents, but using a smaller hole cutter, such as 100mm would have made lining up the vents over the holes easier and less likely to allow rain in through the sides.
