A decades old staple in many Chinese households when the chili oil is passed around at meal time, the Lee Kum Kee brand is one you can trust in what seems to be an endless line of trendy brand chili oils on the market today touting "premium" ingredients and exotic flavors. Often twice the price and more for half the chili oil, and in some cases less, no need to take that bait. Listen, I love chili oil as much as the next guy and have enjoyed a good variety of them. Some are very good, others not. Many these days go out of their way to be a little "different" in a crowded marketplace. So of course you may give some others a try. But THIS is where it ultimately begins and ends. Great flavor, value, good heat and consistent quality. I've been enjoying this brand of chili oil for three decades and every jar has been the same. And when it comes to chili oil that is a good thing, not a bad one. You can take chili oil and try to improve on it by adding this or that ingredients. More or less, and to more or less success. But at the end of the day, a consumer most likely comes back to this. It's a "why try anything else" kind of product when it comes to flavor, heat, versatility, consistent quality, and good value. I have six jars sitting in a cupboard and another open on my kitchen counter. It gets the job done right each and every time.

While the flavor is fantastic, I do wish it had a bit more heat. It’s mild compared to other chili oils, so if you’re looking for something with a serious kick, you might be left wanting more. That said, it’s a great option for those who prefer a more balanced spice profile without overwhelming heat. One downside is the jar—there’s a tendency for it to leak, which can make storage a bit messy. I’d recommend transferring it to a more secure container once opened. Despite this, the rich, smoky flavor makes it worth adding to your pantry, especially if you enjoy layering flavors in your cooking.

Pure perfection. I am addicted to the viral soup dumplings and this oil is key to enjoying the magical flavors. Walmart had substituted another product when this wasn’t available. The substitution was inedible and thrown away. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. THANK YOU!!!!

Definitely recommend Delicious

First of all, I am new to using chili crisp oil. My spice-loving friend puts her favorite variety on everything, always offering it to others with the warning of "a little goes a long way." While I've come to enjoy a greater level of spice thanks to her cooking, I definitely can't match her spice tolerance yet, so I've never tried it when she offered. But then I ended up ordering this for a specific recipe I was making. I landed on this oil after reading reviews that described it as having a deep, rich flavor without overpowering heat. I agree with that description (but, yes, a little still goes a long way). After using it for the planned recipe and enjoying the smoky, almost umami flavor, I've been experimenting adding a bit here and there to other dishes--and so far, it's made literally everything better. I just tried a bit in my vegetable beef soup, which might sound a little odd at first, but it really takes the flavor to the next level. I think I might officially be addicted!

Excelente sabor

This makes everything ultra delicious. I'm now forced to put this in everything, hummus, noodles, soups, pasta, etc. A must in kitchen, and definitely a 'secret ingredient' for spicy dishes.

Was sceptical about chili oil in general. This is one of the most flavour packed oils I’ve ever tried. No I can’t stop having it. Very, very tasty
