Large Military Shadow Box - Solid Wood Flag Case for 5' x 9.5' American Veteran Burial Flag, Velvet Like Felt Lining for Medals, and Polished Plexiglass (Mahogany)

I was skeptical reading some reviews about labels sticking or parts loose. Experienced NONE of that with my order. It was very nicely packaged and easy to remove the back and set up. This is a nice size sturdy display box and it fits the 5'x9' funeral flag perfectly. Haven't put the medals in it yet. But the display cloth looks to be just what you want to add medals to. I like that it's wide enough to sit on a shelf but also can be hung on the wall. Very happy with my purchase and the price.

My son lost his father and received the burial flag, and certificates for his father’s military service. I thought this would be a good way to protect the flag and certificates, and be a memorial at the same time. It arrived quickly, was well-packaged, and looked nicer than expected! It not only included hardware for hanging, and directions for placing the flag and certificates or other memorials, but also directions for proper folding of the flag (our flag was folded properly when presented), but good to have the info, anyway. Highly recommend!

I would have given them a 5-star but both of the wood pieces that hold the flag into place were glued to the cardboard and were ruined. I was able to get the glue off of one of the angle pieces but not the other one, so it looks terrible as the wood finish in places just peeled off. I was going to use it anyway as tired of sending it back. Other than that looks good. Just disappointed due to my husband's flag.

Construction is simple and sturdy. Looks durable and reasonably light weight.

The only reason we did not give it a 5 star is because a sticker was placed on one of the flag triangles and it would not come off easily. After repeated wiping with Goo-Gone it finally came off. It is a very good product and we have already placed the burial flag and several earned medals inside.

I bought this to replace my damaged one, and it gets the job done. However, for $70, you'd expect a sticker that doesn't stick to the wood. Additionally, there were scratches and glue residue on the plexiglass. I attempted to remove the glue residue, but everything I used ended up scratching the plexiglass.

I am rating this item as a two star as I felt it is falsely advertised. I thought I was ordering two house shape shadow boxes, not two rectangular shadow boxes. The house shape is better designed for medals/flagI am sharing a lesson learned to anyone else looking for a house style shadow box. I should have ordered the items two weeks before I needed them. Reason. The shadow boxes arrived on a Sunday. The two boxes were needed for a service on Monday. Force to use boxes as it would take another 5 to 6 days to receive replacement. The rectangular design is a poorer design; compared to the house design shadow box. Reason: The rectangular design only allow enough space for three medals to be displayed properly.All I can say... I would have gone to Micheals Craft Supply... if I was looking for rectangular shadow box.
