The tool functioned as expected, but the paint broke off after the first nail. That didn’t affect how it worked, I am hopping it doesn’t rust. Time will tell.

It's kind of magnetic
Works well and is good on tight to reach places. Have used it on some minor roof repairs and handy work around the house. Well made and sturdy.Not sure if the magnetic upgrade is worth it. The magnet is about the size of a pen head and sunken into the end. Not very magnetic and barely holds.

Works pretty good.
Put the roofing nail in the little holder and a very small magnet will hold it still. Then strike the raised part of the bar. It will not drive the whole nail in with the nail in the holder so you have to pull the bar off and put the bar holder on top of the nail to then drive it in the rest of the way. This bar is very well made and should hold up well over time. A very handy and unique tool.

Amazon FAILURE again!!!
The product says it is magnetic and is absolutely IS NOT!!! Very disappointed!!! Once again Amazon has failed to send what they advertise.
