The dual-layered design of this vent hose appears durable, and once you manage to fit the ends around the dryer and exhaust vent openings (take your time, grasshopper, patience leads to learning), you can screw down the clamps and be back in business. Easiest thing to do is stretch the opening a bit and unroll the rubbery outside then put your fingers behind the first ridge and kind of roll the hose onto the exhaust or vent opening. Then just place the ring over the hose and screw it tightly onto the hose. Remember just stretch the opening a tiny bit it'll be tightened by the ring anyways.
