Works great on Craftsman upright compressor.
Works great. The peacock drain under my upright Craftsman compressor was always a pain to drain. Never knew what spider might be lurking underneath while I blindly reached under it to turn peacock. This drain screwed right in and drains easy. No worries.

Drain is now easy to reach
Fit the factory drain hole in my Husky compressor. The ball valve is easy to turn and sealed well. The added length brings the drain valve well out from underneath the tank. Now I won't talk myself into putting off draining the tank because it's a pain to reach. Lazy guy approved!

Just what I needed
This drain valve is such a life saver. I no longer have to lay down on the floor to drain the air tank.

Much easier to bleed my tank
The hose to ball leaked. I had to remove, clean, add some teflon tape, and put back on to get it to stop. Otherwise assembly was straight forward and it work as expected. The ball valve is much better than the original and the flex hose puts it in a place that is easier to get to so that you don't have to tilt the tank.

Easy way to add drain to compressor
Had to lay compressor over on its side to reach original drain valve. But removal and replacement went well.

should have had this years ago, so simple to drain the tank now.
Draining my compressor tank now takes less than a minute, before i had to get a creeper and try to reach under the tank, loosen the valve and then get sprayed with rusty water and dust, now its just turn the lever and its done and i keep it drained alot more often. I drilled a hole in 1 of the legs and used a zip tie to secure the drain end to keep it off the shop floor.

Works well
I bought two of these items for use as tank drains for 2 air compressors. The quality of the parts is good. The pipe threads all came with thread sealant pre-applied. As received however the fittings were only lightly tightened. In my opinion they were not tight enough to use as-is. I only had to tighten each fitting but I would not recommend just installing them.
