I bought this to take to the beach in the Fall and Winter. It's super easy to set up and take down, and having either option of sitting or lying down is fantastic. I have no idea how it will hold up to the sand and salt air, but if I get a couple years out of it it will be worth the price. My one concern is the quality of the carrying bag it came with. The first time putting the stand in the bag and picking it up one of the strap's seam started coming undone and pulling away from the bag. But I can tack it back in place with a needle and thread if it gets worse.

This stand really only accommodates the hammock provided. We already had two other hammocks and one (the longer) actually laid on the ground, while the second one was so close at the start that you end up dragging the ground. Bottom line is that my 5 foot 4 inch wife can use this with only the provided (unusually short) hammock and I really can't use it at all being 6'4". I'm not sure someone at 6 feet would be entirely comfortable.

I take this when driving sports events. It is a life saver for those long double headers! It's a conversation piece & so comfortable. I am at least 300lbs & never wonder if it will give. Folded it's bigger than a chair, smaller than a pop-up, & fits well in half of the 'angel seat' buckled in.
