Too Thick to Work on My Troy-Bilt
The belt did not come with the green and white sleeve shown in the picture. I came in a clear baggy. The outer dimension is correct, but the V is very deep, making the inner dimension too small. It took a lot longer than I am use to for changing my drive belts. Once on, the belt kept the pulleys too tight. My mower would go into forward or reverse, but not neutral. The park was not working either. I had to turn the mower off to stop moving. I found a 36" x 1/2" and put is on. Mower works like it should now. I will search for a correctly sized 5/8" belt from the OEM for next year.
