The servo is faster than expected, and pretty strong. It is quiet, a little louder under load but still more so quiet. It does have lightly greased, all metal gears; not a plastic one in the bunch, most are brass (4 brass spurs on counter gears+3 aluminum pinions on the counter gears, motor pinion is also brass). I was able to fit the two servos in the two different brand 1/16 & 1/18 cars i needed them for with no problems. The description states "CNC aluminum middle shell", it is actually plastic. The entire outer case is plastic; top, middle & bottom. No ball bearings and it isn't waterproof (description doesn't state either but you never know, 😆 and a quick coat of Conformal made them submergible). I am happy with the purchace, shipped quickly and arrived safely. I would recommend.

Perfect little servo for pretty any 1/16 MJX HYPER GO. I have bought 2 packs. So 4 all together. Since installing this upgrade for a servo, the car’s performance over all has improved. I had one of these operating an elevator. The servo failed mid-air, causing a nose dive and complete destruction of the plane and a damaged engine. I took it apart and found that one of the wires from the circuit board to the servo motor had separated from the circuit board, so the servo motor was no longer operational. The circuit board is hanging off the wires. It's not anchored in any other way. The servo was mounted on it's grommets at the tail of the plane. I can only guess the circuit board was still vibrating a bit and caused metal fatigue on the wire until it broke off. That's just a guess. Anyway, this servo is going back into a glider now (no vibration). If I ever put one in a plane with an engine I'll wrap some thin foam around the circuit board so that the board can't vibrate, as a precaution against this eventuality. Other than this, it's a great little servo, but having caused complete destruction of my plane I have to give it a one star rating.

Helped increase my steering angle and turns on a dime now ! But be careful not to jam the servo in one direction when stuck to help preserve gears, still on the 1st one !

Works as advertised not a bad servo gears are a bit noisy but work fine.
